Has anyone been stranded by a battery pooping out before you've run out of fun?

What's the standard time or milage on a typical scooter? (I think my mom has a Pride)

Ok, that's it for now. I promise. :)

-AI went 2 days without charging at Disneyland. I don't know typical time is for a particular brand though. On the other hand, if she runs low on a charge, there are several places we have found to plug in. One is near the Space Mountain HA line. On the wall where the bathrooms are, where the cast entrance is, there is a plug. You can park there and plug in while you wait to ride. Another is near the tomorrowland Terrace. It is on the Space Mountain Side, on the flat walkway area, up in the planter. I *think* there is one in the Opera house.

If you have one of the larger ECVs that uses two batteriesd (similar to the rentals) you can expect about 25 miles from a full charge at full weight and maximum speed. If you have one of the more lightweight ECVs with the single battery back you can expect ten miles.

I used one at DL - in the course of two months I had one for about 15 days...only ONCE did I lose juice. And it was at VERY BAD time! I think it for some reason didn't charge that night  - because I was in the parks for only a couple of hours - and I had to get back to the DLH for my airport bus to catch a flight...it was HORRIBLE. However, as long as it actually charges each night - it shouldn't be a problem EVER.
