NAPLES RISTORANTE E PIZZERIA PROVIDES ENERGY FOR RUNNERS BEFORE DISNEY’S® LABOR DAY MARATHON
Tuesday, August 14, 2007 – Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria, located in the Downtown Disney® District, announced today their plans to offer a Family Style menu the night before the Disneyland Labor Day Half Marathon, dubbed “Carb-O-Load.” The carbohydrate-laden menu features three courses designed to provide ample fuel for the would-be runners the day before the run.
The menu features a choice of salad, either a traditional Italian Caesar or mixed greens; a choice of two pasta entrees, with selections including linguine tossed with shrimp in a spicy tomato and pancetta sauce, cappelletti pasta tossed with cherry tomatoes, garlic and fresh basil, and traditional favorites such as lasagna, three cheese ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs; dinner will conclude with an assorted selection of traditional Italian desserts.
The Marathon Menu will be served family style at 5pm on Sunday, September 2, the day before the Disney® Labor Day Half-Marathon. The three-course menu is $21.95 per person, with a two-person minimum.
