I just got back from vacation in Hilton Head Island, SC....I want to offer up props to our Southern friends who run in that hot, humid, thick-as-peasoup muck they call "air" down there!!! I had never run on a flat hardpack beach before, so that was an awesome experience - but really, can someone call the man about some air conditioning!! After running a mile (or 4) in someone else's shoes, I embrace all that my little Pennsylvania neighborhood has to offer.

What were the worst conditions you've ever run in? You know what they say - "Misery loves company".....

This year's WDW marathon was pretty brutal. I should look up the actual conditions so that I can quote them to people. It was very humid when we started out with lots of fog. I was practically drenched before the sun even came up!

Todays high was 105 here in Memphis. I"m bout to die running.
