Pre Trip Planning:
We hadn’t planned on going to Disneyland until this fall. Our anniversary is June 4th and we had planned a short trip to San Diego without the kids the following week. Troy & Kim planned their family vacation this week. Then Scott & Kim planned a vacation this week as a graduation present for their daughter, Lacey…it was originally for Disney World, but they switched to Disneyland for cost reasons! My husband & Troy both work for the family business and it’s hard for us both to get the time off…Bobby & I had mentioned a few months ago that they should close up the shop & we all go on vacation together…they declined because of Grandma & Grandpa Adam’s heath. So, Bobby & I continue planning our San Diego vacation…and 2 weeks before…my father-in-law mentions that it would be OK if we joined them. So, I went to the stores to talk to him about it (he likes me more…I think I’m cuter than his sons!)….we’d be leaving on Sunday and he thought we’d be back to work on Wednesday!! I told him that would be two days of driving and one day of DL! So, he said, OK we could drive back on Wed.

So, I went home and was searching for hotels…a few of them were booked since it’s so close. We like to stay at the Camelot Inn (that’s were Troy & Kim are this trip) but it was booked except for the suites. Scott & Kim are at Park Vue Inn this time…it’s booked too. So, I narrow it down to Tropicana (where we’ve never been) for $115 a night and Anaheim Plaza for $69. The Plaza is at the next light down from the crosswalk…really not that far, but at midnight with two cranky kids it IS far. But it was half price…I almost booked it and decided to check everything one more time. I was also checking Expedia. I had bought an Unofficial Disneyland Guide on Ebay for a few bucks and had been reading through it and noticed that it had a lot of hotels & their actual website. So, I checked out a few ones that I didn’t have bookmarked yet! Carousel Inn was $79 a night!! So, I booked it for three nights. After I booked it I went back to Expedia to check why I had seen it on there…because it was $140 on Expedia!! I also booked the Good Night Inn in Redlands (near Riverside) where we’ve stayed before for Saturday night. The plan is to drive until about midnight, and then the next morning we are only a few hours away. It’s quite a pain to switch hotels – but the kids sleep most of the way and it basically gives us another day in DL without missing work.

That was Wed., on Thursday – Wayne (father-in-law) mentions to Bobby that we could have another day and drive home on Thursday!! So, I call the hotel…they can’t do anything since I did it on the website. So, I went online and made another reservation for all four nights & then cancelled the three night reservation. I also cancelled the reservation in Redlands. We decided to just drive down on Sunday with Troy & Kim (Scott & Kim are going Sat morning and doing some other stuff…baseball game, etc.) especially since we had to pay for another night in Anaheim now.

On Saturday, I got a call from Scott & Kim asking which hotel we were staying in…they said they didn’t like their hotel and were going to switch. We all thought that they were staying at the Park Vue Inn, we have all stayed there, but it’s been 3-4 years. So, I was a little bit surprised that they said that it was really run down and didn’t want to stay there!! I gave her a few names of hotels to call and checked which ones still had availability on the internet for her. When we got there we found out, they had reserved Parkside Inn. There was someone sitting out front who looked drunk when they got there, the staff was really rude and the roof looked like it was ready to cave in!! So, I don’t recommend it!

Sunday – June 3, 2007

This morning I was up at 3AM with Megan & 3:30 with Brice. Megan just woke up and went straight back to bed. Brice had fallen off his bed?!? I got up about 5:00 and we were leaving the house just after 6:00. The kids had gone to bed in the clothes they were wearing today, so I just picked them up out of their beds and put them in the car as they woke up…then I started a Donald Duck movie for them. We headed across town to Troy & Kim’s house…stopped by McDonald’s for breakfast and were on the freeway by 7:00.

We ate in Blythe @ Del Taco. On the way our navigator (Kim) who had the only map had us turn onto 215 …but we soon realized our mistake and got back on the right freeway and arrived at the hotel about 2:45. We headed to our respective hotels…they were staying at the Camelot Inn - we were almost next door @ the Caroseul. We got unpacked a bit, changed shoes and meet about 4:00 outside our hotel.

We headed towards Downtown Disney, but first stopped at the Customer Relations desk outside of DCA. Kim had booked their package through AAA…originally it was supposed to be a week or so later, after Lindsay’s birthday – she would have been 10. But, now she’s only 9 for the whole trip. So, she should have a child’s ticket instead of the adult ticket. Kim had called AAA earlier, and they told her she’d have to talk to Disney about exchanging the ticket. The guy who helped her had no idea, had to talk to a manager and told her to come back later…she never did get the ticket exchanged.

As we were finishing up, we met up with Scott & Kim & their girls & we walked though World of Disney, I saw a few small things - antenna balls and a Tink decal I needed to buy for my mom...but no one bought anything. We looked around the Grand Californian and headed to dinner very early for our reservation at Storyteller’s Cafe. We sat outside for a few minutes and looked at the pool and stuff. Dinner was very nice. I got the garlic chicken, green beans & mashed potatoes. It was a HUGE dinner – it was half of a chicken! Brice & Megan split the make your own pizza (Megan’s half we made without cheese since she’s allergic to milk) and I have no idea what Bobby had. Dinner was $55 and very nice.

We headed back out and walked toward the Disneyland Hotel and looked up and down DD. We didn’t really go into too many shops. We finished DD with the rest of the gang and then just Bobby & I & the kids headed into Disneyland. We all had 3 Day passes, but we were going to upgrade to APs later on in the trip. We got into DL about 8:00 and went on a few rides before the fireworks. Brice’s choice for the first ride was Haunted Mansion!! He’d been saying this for a few days – which is surprising since it’s usually Buzz. But we went and there was a very short line. The CM came out and said “Due to technical difficulties…the ride is working”, or something like that – it was much funnier!! But, the whole crowd groaned until we finally realized what he had just said :). Next, we headed to Pooh and then stopped for Megan at the bathroom…just a few seconds too late. She is recently potty trained and doesn’t give us much warning…but it was the only accident the whole trip!

After getting all cleaned up, we headed to the hub and sat back about 2 people behind the curb right in front of the castle. We got a good spot and were only about 40 min. early. I left and went in search of ice cream for Brice…but couldn’t find any ice cream carts still open so late…I went all the way over to Small World and around to Tomorrowland. On the way I heard a warning that the fireworks MIGHT be cancelled due to winds. I finally grabbed some popcorn - $3.50 – for Brice and headed back. He wasn’t thrilled with popcorn, but he did eat it. Megan was asleep when I got back, so I helped Bobby move her to the stroller. Then Brice decided he HAD to go to the bathroom. We are now in the middle of a sea of people…but Brice & I headed off to the bathrooms by Zocalo. When we got back Bobby said that a CM had come up to the rope by the castle and made the announcement that the fireworks were going to be shown, but the fire marshall was requiring everyone to be standing…I guess so we could run faster if everything caught on fire… Oh, ever since we sat down, Brice had been sticking his fingers in his ears because of how loud the fireworks are. They were great, and Brice actually watched some of them this time…with his fingers in his ears!

We got back to the hotel about 10:00 and got the kids into bed, unpacked a bit and wrote down my trip notes and fell into bed!!

Monday – June 4, 2006

Megan woke me up at 3AM!!! She had to go to the bathroom, but we quickly got settled down again and slept until 6:30. I took a shower and left to get some of the continental breakfast…it was OK. We got into line for EE 7:45. But, we made the mistake of stopping for strollers, which really didn’t take that long, it was a short line. But, while we were doing that – Troy’s family went to find the free lanyards they got with their AAA package. They were thinking they’d be Disney lanyards, but no such luck - they were red with AAA on them. By the time we met back up with them, after asking for directions from a security guard because the AAA kiosk wasn’t where we thought it was…we ended up right in front of Buzz at 8:30. So, we went ahead and went on Buzz and then headed over to Peter Pan. By now the line was pretty long, about a half hour. After that line we did get Dumbo, Tea Cups & Alice done rather quickly.

We always take a picture of the kids in front of the little door on the back of the Mad Hatter shop, next to the Alice exit…but this time it was blocked off…maybe they were repainting it…it really needs it. So, we took a picture of the kids in front of the barricade with the door behind. They are both looking down at the ground not smiling. Unfortunatly, it wasn’t a staged picture. Megan was just grumpy & Brice was terrified that we were going on Matterhorn next.

We headed over and got in line for Matterhorn, reminding Brice the whole way how much he likes this ride. It was Megan’s first time. I rode with Megan, and she was a bit tense, but seemed to like it toward the end. When we got off, Brice was bouncing around staying how much he loved the ride...he does this EVERY trip!! Then we headed back into FL to get our strollers parked by Peter Pan…and made a detour to Pinocchio. While we were in line - I looked at the time saw that the first Jedi show of the day was soon…so after Pinocchio we headed straight over to the Jedi Show. Both Brice (who has done this on a previous trip) and Lindsay got picked for the Training Camp!! Erin didn’t really want to try this time. We got some great pictures with both of them up there. This time Brice fought Darth Vader (last time was Darth Mal) and Lindsay got Darth Mal this time.

When the Jedis completed their training, we headed over to DCA and grabbed FPs for Soarin’. While we were waiting for the FP time, we got lunch at Taste Pilots Grill. Bobby told me to get him a BBQ Chicken Sandwich…so I did. Then, when I came back with my fried chicken sandwich…he was jealous and tried to trade me!! Oh, I found a $5 bill on the floor in the restaurant!! :D Lunch was $21 for the two of us…actually, I guess it was $16! Scott & Kim’s order took forever. They ordered right after us, but the rest of us were almost done by the time they got back to the table. I think they somehow lost their order, other people were getting served in front of them. So, while Scott’s family ate…Ashlee & I ran over to get FPs for GRR...I THOUGHT that I had remembered that the FP machine here wasn't hooked up...next time I should check before the trip!! But, the ride was broken down. After lunch, we all headed to Soarin’ and Megan had a great first ride. Next we headed over to do Monsters & then Muppets in Hollywood Backlot. Then, we went on Tower of Terror. Bobby & Troy waited with the kids…I think Ashlee didn’t go either. The wait was only 13 min on the sign, but it took us over 30 min to get back.

We headed over to GRR again, as now it was getting hot. I waited with Megan (who isn’t tall enough) with a baby switch pass while everyone else got in line. I got Megan a popsicle and me an ice cream while we waited. She got her popsicle everywhere!! A total mess! The ride broke again while they were in line, so they all came back out to meet me. We headed over to do Brice’s request – Jumpin’ Jellyfish…next was Mullholland Madness. Scott & Kim stayed with Megan while everyone else went . Brice rode with his cousins and I was a little worried about this ride – but apparently his parents were more scared of this ride than he was. I hadn’t ridden this since the park opened…and it had worse corners than I remembered!! When we got off the ride, Megan was asleep in the stroller, covered from head to toe in strawberry popsicle. It was about 3:00, so I decided to take Megan back to the hotel for a rest, Ashlee was the only other person sane enough...I mean tired enough:D...to take a break. While we were headed out – I got Brice his ice cream he didn’t get last night…a Mickey shaped one. We also got passed by the High School Musical ‘parade’, or whatever it is.

About 4:00 I called Ashlee at her hotel, and we met up and headed back into DCA with nice clean clothes on Megan. We finally got to ride GRR with FPs someone had gotten while we were at the hotel and then we headed over to DL to grab Indy FPs…they were for 7:30ish. We then we on Jungle Cruise and decided that we could squeeze in Pirates before our dinner reservation. Today was Bobby & I’s anniversary – so I had made reservations (or rather Priority Seating…you’ll see why I say that soon) at Blue Bayou for 6:20. We got onto Pirates at 6:05…and had just enough time to run to our dinner. The rest of the family was watching the kids for us.

So, we got to BB, and sat on the floor for close to an hour before our name was finally called…we got a horrible table again – right next to the kitchen entrance and the first table right by the doors to the lobby. So, all the angry guests waiting were just staring at us! Bobby was trying to be very romantic and cut & butter my roll – but he cut his finger, pretty badly, with the butter knife!! The new menu wasn’t real impressive. I did finally get to try the Mint Julep – very interesting, but I did like it. There was a King Crab dinner – but it was a huge amount of crab – so I suggested to Bobby that we split it. I figured it would be enough food since I really wasn’t hungry, and everything was so expensive. The waiter didn’t even charge us for the split plate charge that I was expecting. We did get to keep the menus and got a free poster of the new Pirates movie…so that was neat. Dinner was about $50! I really don’t think we’ll go there again. We had thought of trying a different restaurant, but wanted to be in the park since we were leaving our kids and didn’t want to have to leave the rest of the group really early to hike to the hotels. Also, we had eaten at the BB on our honeymoon.

After dinner, we strolled through the Gallery – not knowing that it would be the last time!! And then headed over to use our Indy FPs. After our ride together on Indy…the first one in years since we always have the kids, we called the rest of the group and they were just finishing dinner at Rancho del Zocalo. I can’t remember all they did…but they had also used their Indy FPs and then had gone over to the new Pirate’s Lair island.

After they finished eating, we all went to BTMRR. It was Megan’s first time and we put her between Bobby & I so she wouldn’t slide out…I think she liked – she doesn’t have too much of a reaction…scared at first at how fast the roller coasters start going…but then she seems OK :)

Everyone else was really tired (because they didn’t rest!!) but Brice wanted to go on Star Tours and we hadn’t had the chance yet, and had told him no a few times today when we were right next to it. So, we headed over there…on the way out of Frontierland, there was a cart with all the light up stuff Disney sells. And, Megan starts yelling Ring!! Ring!! It took me a little while to realize she meant the LED necklace…she got one last December, but it got pulled in half by some kids visiting our house. So – Megan got her souvenir - $5 :)

We left everyone else at the hub, and headed to Star Tours. Megan can’t ride – and I don’t remember who rode with Brice – I think that I did. After that we headed back to the hotel…I took a detour to McDonald’s while Bobby took the kids up for bed. I got him a root beer & a thing of ice cream to make a ‘root beer float’ – sort of. I got one of the new Shrek milkshakes…it was OK.

Thanks for posting your trip report :D Just one question, where did you get the rate for the Carousel Inn? I can't seem to find it for cheaper than $120?

:pTuesday – June 5, 2007

Today we were up by 7:45 and in line @ 9:15 with Troy & Kim & family – Scott & Kim said they would meet us later. We headed over and got Space Mtn FPs (for 11:00) first and then rode the Monorail around. It was neat looking into the sub ride, even though we couldn’t ride it yet. We came back and tried to ride Buzz, but it was broken. So, I took Megan & Lindsay & Erin on the Astro Orbitors. Megan & I had to jump out of line to go to the bathroom – but luckily it was right there. This was my FIRST time on this ride!!! I think it was the only ride I hadn’t ridden yet. The line always looks long, and it’s just like Dumbo – so I had never cared to try it. But, Megan loved it – she talked about going on the spaceships every time we walked past it, so we finally went. It was a little bit faster than Dumbo…while we were on that - the rest of the party went on Star Tours. By the time we all got off Buzz was back up, so we met back up & all went on that and then it was time for our Space Mtn FPs.

After Space, we ate at the Pizza Port. Troy had never eaten here & didn’t know there was a pizza place in DL!! (It’s Bobby’s favorite restaurant I think! – Stage Door Café used to be, but they don't have hot dogs any more). So, we ate there – I got the Ckn Pasta, I can’t remember the crazy name – and Bobby got a slice of pizza & ate some of my lunch too since the pasta is HUGE!! It was $19 after discount with drinks. The kids had Vienna Sausages…I thought it was an interesting lunch I could pack easily. Bobby tried one and about threw up, and then tried to get Kim to eat one!

While we were eating Scott’s family joined us. After we all finished, Kim & I went up front to grab the free strollers since the line should be shorter now, while the rest of the group went to Big Thunder. When we got back to BTMRR, Bobby had taken Brice & Megan over to buy Brice’s pirate sword that he wanted for his souvenir this trip – he decided he didn’t want to go on “the fast train”.

After this, we walked over to the line for Pirates, but it was pretty long. I didn’t want to go since we’d already gone a few tiems & didn’t think it was worth the wait. So, we headed over to Splash Mtn. And, decided not to wait in that line either…and ended up at Haunted Mansion. Then we all ran to the bathrooms under Hungry Bear…I can’t remember who – Lindsay or Erin I think – really, really had to go!! Then we went on Pooh & grabbed a FP for Splash for 1:55. Then we headed all the way back to Pirates – and waited for about 30min. At this point, everyone was hot & tired and the parks were a little bit crowded. We were having trouble deciding what to do with such a big group. I suggested Tiki Room since the kids love it and it’s a nice cool break. The wait was only a minute – so I didn’t get to buy a Dole Whip. We go inside, sit down, and Megan has to go to the bathroom!!! So, I took her out, went back inside Tiki watining area & used the bathroom there. Then, we had time to buy a Dole Whip – which was my first one & very good. Megan had fun watching the water dump until the show was over. We walked straight in & then back out of the Tiki Rm to met up with the rest of our party.

Next, we grabbed Indy FPs for 5:30 and jumped onto the Jungle Cruise…by then we could use our Splash Mt FPs, so we headed back there. Afterwards, I took the kids back to the hotel for a nap while everyone else went over to use the Space Mtn FPs. While I was gone – they did Space, tried the Matterhorn, but it broke down, and then went on Indy. I was supposed to meet them back about 5:30 for Indy and use my FP while someone waited with the kids…but I was a little bit late coming back from the hotel. So, I got to Main St and saw everyone waiting for the Parade, so I grabbed two benches on the path down to the Matterhorn and spread out blankets & jackets. One lady was very rude and upset that I was saving TWO benches!! I called everyone a few times and had a hard time getting ahold of them…I guess you can’t hear your cell phone in Indy!! I finally told them where I was and Bobby & Troy’s family came to join me. Scott & family didn’t want to watch the parade. When they all got back, Kim & I ran over to the Stage Door Café and got everyone dinner. I think I got a Chicken basket & a Mozzerella Stick basket & a drink for $19…Bobby & I & the kids shared it. The parade was great – and Lindsay got lots of ‘Happy Birthday”s from the characters since they were so close & could see her pin.

After the parade, we headed in to Fantasyland and did Snow White, the Carosuel & then SW again!! Then we headed over to Storybook Land Canal Boats and had a little bit of a wait. There was a guy from Australia up ahead of us in line – he was asking people where the Joshua Tree National Forset was. None of us Americans even knew that there was one!! (We saw it on the drive home though…had never noticed the signs before) He was in America for two months with his family and was going to go all over and see tons of stuff that we will probably never get to see!

After we cruised around the world…we headed over to Small World. After this ride – Kim was just about asleep…while she was walking. So, we headed back to the entrance. It was actually pretty cold…for us Tucsonians at least…and Brice had been asking for hot chocolate. I stopped at the Plaza Inn on the way out (Kim didn’t…she just kept pushing the stroller and was so tired she didn’t notice I had stopped!!) and got myself a coffee and then got a hot chocolate that was mostly milk. But, it was still too hot for him – and by the time it had cooled off – he had fallen asleep. What a wasted $2!! :p

I grabbed ice cream again at McDonald’s and took it up to the room. We got the kids in bed and watched the second half of a two hour “America’s Got Talent” show on TV & then went to bed.

Wednesday – June 6, 2007

Today was our last day in the parks…so we were up by 7:00 and headed over to Jazz Kitchen in DD for breakfast about 8:00. Breakfast was good – they have a walk up window. We got two sausage sandwiches and an order of the French Toast sticks for the kids to split ($18). Bobby’s Gatorade got knocked off the table and the lid actually broke and spilt everywhere…and on the family next to us. Luckily, they had little kids too! We went into the park and got on the train for a round trip by 9:15…then we headed back and did Tea Cups. I’m not sure why we went all the way there just for that…I think we were just waiting for the Pirate Island to open at 9:30 – which is what we did next . The kids had done this the other night with the rest of the group while we were having a ‘wonderful’ dinner at BB. I was impressed with how much was done to the island – I hadn’t expected nearly as much stuff to have been added. We stumbled across Jack Sparrow – but didn’t stop for pictures. We also didn’t wait around for the Pirate Show…we were headed back to the Princess Storytelling at 10:30.

So, we left the island at 10:15 and called Troy & Kim…they had free tickets to Mickey’s Toontown Madness (which they were not impressed with) and were about done by now. Troy came over and met Bobby & they grabbed Splash Mtn FPs while I went to meet Kim & the girls at the storytelling. By the time I hiked all the way over there with the stroller and dragging Brice behind me I was super hot!! I stood in line for a few minutes at the SW snack stand there…but there was only one person working – who didn’t seem to know what they were doing. I finally gave up since I was missing the ‘show’ and just grabbed a water bottle. The guys showed up with the strollers and we watched the rest of the story telling. It was good – but nothing too exciting unless your little girl HAS to see a princess. But, I think the princesses rotate and you never know which one will be telling the story.

Kim & I went to get strollers (for FREE with the Disney Visa…you know, one time I heard a lady up in front of me in line PAYING for her strollers WITH the Disney Visa…I was surprised the CM didn’t say anything – and I was too far away). While we were in line, we were looking at the show schedule and decided that if we were going to see Billy Hill & the Hillbillys (which Troy wanted to see – he’d never seen it before) that we had better do it now. So, we called the guys & had them take the kids over to the Golden Horseshoe. We meet up with them and we got some bad seats on the side of the balcony and grabbed lunch while they were there. I brought stuff for the kids…and we got the same meal of chicken strips & mozzarella sticks as last night & split it…but I also got Bobby a root beer float! – we didn’t know they sold them here…lunch was $26 with a Diet Coke for me.

We had been calling Scott & family and finally got ahold of them. They met us for lunch. The show was OK…I really didn’t see much of it since I was getting lunch and going up and down the stairs to get stuff out of the stroller the whole time…and since we were in a bad spot. The show was OK…just like we had thought a few years ago when we first saw it. I’m surprised it’s lasted this long!

After lunch, we all headed to use our Splash FP at 12:00. After a quick bathroom stop, we headed over to DCA for the Aladdin show. On the way, we stopped at the Opera House to look at the Space Mtn exhibit – we’d told Troy about this & he’d always wanted to see it. The pictures we took of it came out terrible. So, after we had hung around in the lobby for a few minutes and decided we didn’t have enough time to watch the movie.

Troy & Kim had reserved tickets for the Aladdin show – but had left them in the hotel room. They decided to just wait it out with us. We got there about 45 min early (after getting pictures Max in Hollywood – Lindsay also tied his shoe for him!) and sat in the bottom level. The show was great as always and everyone else hadn’t seen the show. Brice really didn’t remember it & Megan was a tiny baby last time we saw it. As soon as we sat down – Megan crawled into my lap and refused to sit in her own seat and said it was scary and she was terrified with her fingers in her ears for about 10 minutes while we were waiting for it to start. The opening song was a little too loud for me to convince her that it wasn’t scary – but she finally warmed up to it and watched most of it.

After this, about 3:00, I headed back to the hotel with the kids. We tried to go on Monsters on the way, but it was a super long line because the Aladdin show had just gotten out…and then we headed over to get FPs for Soarin’ but they were already gone for the day. So, we settled for ice creams and got to see Lighting McQueen & Mater on our way out.

About 4:00 we went back into DL. I called Bobby on the way and told him that we were headed back to the Fantasyland Theatre to see the Princess dancing. I figured that it had to be good since the storytelling was OK (but I really was wrong…more later). He decided to meet us there even though he had a FP comin’ up soon for GRR. The princess dancing thing was really not very good – and most of the kids were either too young to really participate – or thought they were too cool to do it. The maypoles were good and worked ok…but it’s definetly not a big deal to miss.

Bobby got there about the end of it and was bummed out…but I told him he didn’t miss anything. We were all hot & tired at this point…and went over to Buzz – but it was broken down…so we decided on the Caroseul. Then we went into the princess shop and got an Ariel play set for Ella’s birthday party next week. And, I got myself a large Tink purse that I planned on using for a gym bag. We called Troy, and they were headed back over to DL. We went on HM & then Pirates…then Troy called to say they weren’t coming back – but heading to the hotel. It was about 7:00 and we ate dinner somewhere…I forgot where!! Fantasyland was really busy – so we headed over to Tiki Rm since Megan & I missed it the day before. Megan really loved it, I’m glad we tried it again. Then, at Brice’s request, Dad & Brice went on STours while the girls went on Buzz. Then we headed all the way over to Pooh, since I like it and we didn’t go on it much with the rest of the group. It was getting late, so we headed for a night Jungle Cruise – but it was broken down!! So, we slowly shopped down Main St…I finally found my Nemo antenna ball in the Emporium – so I waited in line and bought it and a pack of Mickey suckers for the kids the next day on the ride home (which I forgot to give to them!!) while Bobby waited with the kids…the lines were pretty long. When will I learn to buy stuff early in the trip???? We got back to the hotel about 9:30 and got packed up a bit & went to sleep.

Thursday – June 7, 2007

This morning we were up at 8:15 and headed to the Disney Outlet Store at 9:30. We normally go during one of the ‘nap times’ and take turns staying in the car with the sleeping kids. But this time, Bobby never came back to the hotel since we had other people with us. We found two pieces of the Olszewski pieces – so we had to buy them. We were back on the road about 10:30 and drove all the way to Tucson…pretty uneventful & not a bad trip.
