This is my first cruise... A few quick questions..
1. How do you know where you will be eating and at what time? (I have second dinner seating)
2. Being I have second dinner seating how will I see the shows? Before or after dinner?
I can't wait but I feel like I am not preprared.
1. When you get your Key card, your dining rotation and table number are printed on it. Basically, it will look something like this: ATPATPA, or PATPATP The letters stand for the restaurant - so A is Animator's Palate, T is Tritons (L on the Magic for Lumieres), and P for Parrot Cay.
They will also have a printout in your stateroom when you arrive that gives you the same information.
2. You will see the main show before dinner.
Ask away on questions - we are happy to help around here!

Tony - Thank you for the reply... you helped me clarify. I am so excited to get going.... I can't imagine looking out over the boat and only seeing the ocean!!!

They sometimes assign your rotation based on the make-up of your party (they tend to put younger kids at Animators the first night; older kids at parrot Cay the first night and Adults at Triton/Lumiere's the first night).
This isn't always the case, though -- so someone can tell me if they've had a different experience.
I LOVED having second seating -- and there are some "adult only" shows at Wavebands/Rockin' Bar D after dinner (about 10:15).

Well we will see what they do with us... it will be me (30) DH (27) sister (15) and my mother (54)....Should be a good time regardless. My sister is very shy but I hope she makes some friends to occupy her time.

Your sister will have a great time in the teen club! They have tons of activities, or she can just chill in their lounge and listed to music and read a book.

And you can remind her that none of the people she's going to meet on the ship KNOW that she's shy, so she can just adopt a different persona if she feels like it!

On the four day cruise with four kids under 8 we ate at Parrot Cay, Tritons, Tritons, Animators Palate. We did however have nine adults in the party and first seating, maybe that made a difference.
