Wow, who thought I'd have a question, lol. :p

I'm staying at the BCR while at Disney in October. I know wi-fi internet access is available in the lobby of the BCR; however, would I still have to pay the $10 a day like I'd have to if I was in my room, or is there no charge for it in the lobby areas.

Knowing Disney, I'm sure I'd have to pay, even in the lobby, but I want to be sure so I know what to expect. :)

Thanks for your help to anyone that can answer. :)

I believe there is a charge regardless if you are in the lobby or your room. Im sure it will tell you either way.
One noteworthy thing... if you access the internet via wireless and then possibly access the internet via an Ethernet cable in the room (or vice versa), you may risk getting charged twice. I mention this because most hotel systems keep track of things via the MAC address that is on the network cards in your computer. Your wireless and Ethernet cards in your machine (if equipped with both) will have unique addresses. To the ISP, they look like two separate machines.

Now, Im only mentioning the above because this happened to me at some other hotel during my business travels. It may be the case at Disney, but then again, I could be wrong. Better safe in mentioning it than not.

this happened to me at a Marriott I stayed at in Germany last month, but I just pointed it out at checkout and they corrected it, as the intention is a charge for internet use for a set period of time no matter how you access it.
