All of my stays (over 100 nights) have been in the Tower. As far as the wings, you can only get the South Wing as the North Wing has been torn down.

Take a look at this FAQ (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=38080) for assistance on setting up a countdown clock.
Unfort. I have never stayed at the CR, but I will say that Chef Mickey's is one of our favorite places to eat. Regardless of which building you are in, you will have a great time. :)

We were there a few times last week.
To be honest the place is a mess. There is a huge wood wall put up just inside the entrance to the left, another walled off section in the center close to the elevators, the game area was closed, and some of the food tables had come out into the lobby area.
There is only half a parking lot - needed to park farther away than usual.
We did not see any issues with room access or construction on those floors but the large construction area outside did produce a good deal of noise any time after 7am on the days we were there.
I also sent Mark a nice picture I got of the Contemporary and construction while I was para-sailing last week. There is a chance he'll use it in the WDW update published next Monday.

Well if your staying at the north wing...some say it gets alittle drafty at night. And watch out for wrecking balls, there are an invasive specie to the area

The tower is completely finished. The south wing is not. :)

Hi. This time last week I was at CR. The refurbished rooms are great. I was interested in the continuing renovations - especially with the building site view from the window. The only “issue” was the dual bathroom sinks are contemporary but completely unfunctional. I challenge anyone to easily wash away toothpaste residue down the plughole! Luckily being on vacation that wasn't my problem :-) So the hotel shop and fast food place are in a state of flux – pretty much every service is being relocated after refurbishment. But the service everywhere remained great. Ultimately the staff are excited by all the changes. When in the pool you rarely hear them drive piles into the ground next door with the normal waterfall drowning it out. And of course you are sealed in your room you don’t even hear the barge light show at 10:05pm until you open the veranda door. The in-room PC has a section apologizing for the lack of tennis courts and a few other missing services. I heard monorail riders give a negative review based on seeing the tired lobby and external hotel area. Luckily the lobby is next on the refurb list according to their on-line concierge and from my experience with the great rooms any pre-conceived negative views about the resort are completely unfounded. The hotel was completely full (to the point colleagues had to re-book at the Swan to extend vacation) when I was there, so no surprise they are not trying to make it any more popular prior to the addition being built. Enjoy. Alex.
