Has anyone every stayed at the Wyndam Orlando resort on International Drive? I have ressies there for October for a convention. Hotels.com doesn't give it a good rating. Just wondering if anyone had a first hand experience.

AAA Rates it as Three Diamonds and until about seven or eight years ago it was a Marriott. It is right at I-Drive and Sand Lake Road (SE Corner) and is in the middle of everything, especially messed-up traffic.

mickeylove: I have never been to the Wyndham, but I have two work colleagues who have. Both have been separately with their families and thought that it was fine. They had no problems with it, it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. One of them even booked the hotel again for this October. I hope this helps alleviate some of your fears..;)
