Once nice side benefit from volunteering is that there is a potential tax write-off for expenses incurred while there.....disclaimer: consult your own tax planner about the details, I just know that it worked out nicely for me!

Do they still give the volunteers a one day, one park pass?

As a participant, let me say thank you in advance to all the volunteers!

The Marathon and ½ Marathon volunteers earn a one day one park ticket per shift. The Expo requires three Sports Enthusiast shifts to earn one ticket and the tickets are issued a month or so after your third shift is completed.

I am not volunteering this year for the marathon but have a few volunteer shifts at ToT and Disney Triathlon. I caught the dreaded marathon fever while volunteering for the 2007 WDW Marathon and signed up to do it in 2008.
