Thank you Danyoung, i didnt think people would ask their children to lie about their birthday...
In this other thread I mentioned, some folks were indeed promoting that the child just tell "a little white lie". It seemed pretty uncool to me - glad that's not what you're doing!

I am not heading that route, and i do agree with you that is uncool and i believe that a lie is a lie, is hard for small children to know the difference between a "white lie" and a lie, how can you later on reprimand your child if he or she goes around lying if you "sort" of gave them the green light to do so. I guess my whole thing was to have a celebration in each of the parks with the intention of making a bigger deal on the actual birthday which is crhristmas day but since her fave place is cindy's royal table but i really dont want to go to mk on christmas day.

Hi there! I sure have! Here are my top recommendations to really celebrate a birthday at Disney!
At Disney World, you’ll find that the key to making a birthday special is to announce it to everyone. Tell the folks at the front desk of your hotel, tell the servers at all of the restaurants you’ll visit, and tell Cast Members! The more people who know, the more they can do to make birthdays magical!
Step 1: At check-in, inform your resort at the front desk that you are celebrating a special birthday! Ask a Cast Member at the front desk for a special birthday message. Your birthday guest will receive a birthday greeting from Goofy!
Step 2: Whichever park you guys choose to attend this day, be sure to stop by Guest Services (City Hall if visiting Magic Kingdom) before you do anything else. Guest services are located just inside the park, typically to the left. Ask for a Happy Birthday Button for the birthday guest to wear. This always get’s lots of attention!
Step 3: Take fun birthday hats, noisemakers, or candles into the park with you. Let the birthday boy choose the location for lunch. Then pull out the candles and other fun items to surprise them with. Stick the candles in their hamburger for a fun surprise.
Step 4: Stop by any of the hat shops inside any of the parks or at Downtown Disney (Magic Kingdom’s is located to the right on Main Street) and get a birthday hat! Let them pick out their hat… Mickey ears, the birthday cake hat, or whatever they’d like to wear, if anything. Then have it embroidered with their name or “birthday boy.”
Step 5: Have fun! You don’t have to do much to enjoy a birthday at Disney! Just shout it to the world and see what happens!
Other special Birthday options:
1.Order a birthday cake or have the concierge at the front desk of your resort handle this for you for an additional fee. Birthday cakes can be ordered through Goodings Bakery located at Crossroads (located just outside the main gates to Downtown Disney). Call 407-827-1200. Cakes can be delivered to your room!
2. Celebration Cruise:
Enjoy an hour-long cruise on Bay Lake or EPCOT’s lake and enjoy VIP fireworks viewing! Price is a bit steep at $211.26 for the 21’ pontoon and admits up to 10 people. Cruises depart every 30 minutes prior to Illuminations Night Show at EPCOT and 30 minutes prior to the Magic Kingdom Fireworks. Contact your resort to set this cruise up ahead of time.
2. Arrange a birthday breakfast with the characters at Chef Mickey’s (located inside the Contemporary Resort). Call and make reservations ahead of time. Be sure to tell them that it is for a birthday. They will have a special birthday cupcake waiting and they will get extra special attention from the characters! Call 407-wdw-dine for reservations.
Main Points:
Spread the word
Have your camera ready
Have a great time!

Thank you so much Beachgal for your great advice, I'm hoping to make reservations in each park with a character meal and make a point of telling them that is for a birthday celebration. I know my daughter is going to have a blast and she will feel so special, I cant wait!!!! Can you order a cake at any of the character meals at the parks or is it only at the resorts????

You're very welcome! Yes, you can order specialty cakes for in-park restaurants as well as Disney resort restaurants! I think she is going to love this birthday. It sounds like mom is really out to spoil her rotten - she'll love it! You can place an order for cakes by calling 407-827-2253! Have a great trip and let me know if you have any other questions! I'd be happy to help! :D

Thanks beachgal-i have a couple of questions
what is the smallest cake available for purchase?
if i don't purchase a cake will they provide something at each restaurant( cupcake??piece of cake?? with a candle or do i provide the candle)
Since there is only going to be 3 of us, if the smallest cake is too big would it be ok to offer some to the tables closest to us???

You bet! Disney's Cake Hotline offers a 6" cake for parties less than 5 in all in-park and Disney Resort restaurants. They are only $12 and no pre-order is required! All you'd have to do is tell the Cast Member at the podium of the restaurant you are about to dine at before you are seated.
If you would like a larger cake, you can call the hotline, choose the restaurant you'd like to order the cake for, and they will walk you through picking the right cake. I'm not sure about sharing with other guests. But I'm positive they would offer you a great to-go box so you could take it back to your resort to enjoy later.
Most Disney restaurants offer some sort of birthday surprise if you notify your server or the podium upon arrival. Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, for example, will have a special birthday cupcake waiting if you let them know when you arrive (you can also call 407-WDW-DINE and add a note to your reservations with a Cast Member).
