Not sure which airport yet, but will be either LAX or John Wayne. What is the best way to go. Least expensive too.

As of my writing this, LAWA (Los Angeles World Airports) offers a shuttle (called a "FlyAway" bus) directly from LAX to DL for only $4 per adult including luggage. I am afraid, however, that this post is going to sound nuts. You see, the LAWA website offers no desription of this particular route, the phone number does not seem to work, and I only know about it because a FlyAway driver told me about it. Please confirm that this is true before you leave, but if you are staying at or across the street from the resort, this could be your best money-saver. :)

My preference, Rental Car for the conveince and low cost (check out Hotwire.com for some decent rates, and then compare with other sites).

Don't want a rental car, then it depends on the airport.

From John Wayne/Orange County/Santa Ana (all the same airport, just has too many names).

A Taxi, the fare is around $35 to $40 plus tip, and you go with no waiting or any other people from the airport straight to your hotel, and compared to the other choices, sometimes cheaper (with 4 or more folks), or only a few dollars more.

Fron Long Beach Aiport, a taxi, $36 flat rate plus tip from the airport, about $45 going from the DLR area to the airport.

From LAX, I prefer the Disneyland Express Airport Bus.
