Upcoming NFFC Show & Sale Information
This is just a quick reminder that the NFFC will again be hosting the World's Largest STRICTLY Disneyana Show & Sale - on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the spacious Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in Garden Grove, California (about 1½-miles South of the Disneyland Resort on the Southwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue). This is the kind of wall-to-wall-no-holds-barred Disneyana shopping that the NFFC is famous for!
We'll have almost every inch of ballroom space packed with 150+ tables – dealers from across the country and around the world - covered by every imaginable © Disney-themed collectable - classic and contemporary. From toys to Litho art and PVC action figures to Walt Disney Art Classics pieces - paper and buttons and mini-bean-bag plush and clothing and plates and books and decals and videos and DVDs and music and promotional items and PINS! Something for every Disney collector!
For all you merchandise junkies we have these wonderful dealers/outlets joining us –
Disney’s Soda Fountain will be bringing a selection of goodies from their store on famed Hollywood Boulevard (right next to the legendary El Capitan Theatre) to sell and the pins are going to go fast!
Mickey’s of Glendale will again be joining us, so this is your chance to come on by and pick up your Limited Edition and WDI Exclusive merchandise – from pins to bags to clothing to key chains to magnets and beyond – all available only at WDI or the NFFC’s Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale.
Acme Archives – a premiere outlet for Animation Art will be joining us for their first Show & Sale – come on by to see if there is something your walls can’t live without.
Buena Vista Home Entertainment will be showing off their latest releases and previewing coming attractions – worth a look and you can always make a request for that very special movie you’d love to add to your collection.
Disney’s Movie Rewards – a new program that will allow you to earn some very cool goodies simply by purchasing the things you love will be at the Show & Sale to explain how this new opportunity will add some goodies to your collection while it adds movies to your library.
The Disney Cast Member Store will be with us offering a huge array of Exclusive, Cast Member Only and Limited Edition CastLE merchandise and goodies – so shopping at their booth is the next best thing to having the Mouse sign your paycheck.
The wonderful folks from the Ryman Arts Foundation will be with us to share their amazing program and explain how fostering a new generation of artists is the most fitting way t pay tribute to the genius that was Herb Ryman, stop by and chat.
We’ll also have dealers and tables offering unique opportunities to meet and get an autograph from some truly gifted Disney artists, authors and creative contributors to Walt’s legacy –
Neal Gabler will be signing his wonderful and award winning biography Walt Disney: Triumph of the American Imagination. Seven years in the creation, it’s the definitive Walt.
Charles Ridgeway will be signing his newest Spinning Disney’s World: Memories of a Magic Kingdom Press Agent. And who better than Charlie to tell the tales?
Greg Ehrbar will be signing his new Mouse Tracks: The Story of Walt Disney Records. You think you know Disney music? Stop by and hum a few bars and try to stump Greg.
David Koenig will be signing his latest, Realityland: True-Life Adventures at Walt Disney World, a WDW version of his very popular Disneyland inspired Mouse Tales volumes. Got a story to share, David’s always listening.
Russell Schroeder will be with us signing his latest, Disney’s Lost Chords.
Several Disney luminaries will also be signing, Virginia Davis, star of the Alice Comedies, Eddie Carroll, the voice of Jiminy Cricket and Disney artist, sculptor and puppeteer Terri Hardin.
So, come and play for the afternoon at the NFFC’s Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale. It’s an amazing opportunity to add to your collection, to your memories and to your library. The entry price for the Show & Sale is $5 for NFFC members (with valid NFFC membership card) – $6 for the general public – $5 for Disney Company Cast Members (with valid ID card). There is also a $25 early-bird entry for those wishing to enter the show at 10:00am.
As always our convention features a LE pin for your collection – this year’s pin features our NFFC Magical Dreams Tour 2007 logo and is limited to 400 pieces.
Show & Sale hours are:
9:00am - to Conventioneers
10:30am - to NFFC members
Noon - to the general public
The show closes promptly at 5:00pm, so come early.
