Hello. We will be visiting Tokyo in mid August. Can anyone give me an idea what a one way taxi fare would be from the Hilton in Shinjuku to Tokyo Disneyland? Hopefully it's not going to be as expensive as going to the airport! Thanks in advance for your help.

From looking at a map: probably about $100-$120.

You can cut that in half by first taking a train as far as Tokyo station.

Most people take the train to Tokyo Station and then transfer to another train to go out to Maihama (Disney area). This is kinda fun, but beware: it's a fifteen minute walk between trains.

Another possibility is a direct bus from the Shinjuku train station, the New South exit I believe. This is only $6. I would ask the concierge at your hotel for directions to the bus, as that train station is rather daunting . . . well, daunting or a great adventure, depends how you look at it.
