Did anyone see this special besides me?:D They did a lot of the usual stuff like showing the animal's habitats and so forth. But they only showed one of the big rides, the Kraken (ohhhhh scary giant squid:D) but what is the other thrill ride? It looks like a coaster with a boat on the rails that rides in water and on land(I heard it has a loop but couldn't tell).
Also one other thing, what was the name of the resort that they have across the way (or near them) that has a $175 admission and only lets 1000 people in a day called? It seems interesting to give people the opportunity to see some of the creatures up close (they do supervise so that is good).:)

Kraken is a floorless coaster and it is mean (160 ft drop, multiple loops)
Other ride you are talking about is Journey to Atlantis. Very much a family-oriented kind of ride although the flume drop is pretty steep for really small kids .........
<<<<<<Spoiler follows>>>>>>>>
It's a boat ride like Splash Mountain with a large drop (very steep) which then changes into a roller coaster with a pretty severe set of turns (no loop) at the end. No animated figures or characters, just some interesting fiber-optic stuff and sound effects.
Roller coaster portion is very brief but unexpected ..........
On a scale of 1-4, rates a 3 ........... (Splash Mountain would be a 4)

I really liked Atlantis when I rode it a few years ago (though the "story" was really odd), but the second time we went on, we ended up in the front seat and were absolutely drenched. Since it was early evening, and we'd planned on staying until closing, we ended up going back to our apartment to change.
