My family is visiting me while I study abroad in Paris. I was not sure which day of the week would be the least busy or best time to go. They will be here the 15th of june to the 21st. Sooo, like is the middle of the week, wed good? (We are only going for one day, and I decided to opt out on the Studios because of other reviews I have read on it...even though the studios looks neat I would rather stay 2 days at Dland!) (I am always forget I am such a Disney nerd...I just can not imagine being this close to a park and not going, I would never forgive myself!)
Also can we just take the metro there from the city? I have seen the posters and such advertising it takes 30 mins or something, but which stop is it at and what line is it on?...and what zone ticket do I need.
And..should we stay in the city and ride the metro in? From what I gathered it seemed less expensive that way. Or your favorite hotel there would be cool!
Any information is wonderful! Thanks!

You can easily take the RER out to DLP. Depending on where you catch the train, you might have to change trains, which can be a bit of a delay. If you're in Paris, simply check the RER maps. The station is Marne la Valle (I think that's the right spelling) and it's basically the end of that line. The train station is an EASY walk to the front gate of DLP.
As with any Disney park, I would suggest midweek days over weekend days, but it is summer vacation, so who knows? Check the website and see what the hours are; to me, they seemed to close earlier than the US parks.
And, as with any Disney park, the earlier you can get into the park, the better. Plan accordingly if you are coming in from Paris.
We loved (loved, LOVED) the Explorer's Hotel, which is one of the off-site hotels near DLP (easy shuttle bus ride from just outside the train station). Their rates were excellent and we liked the place infinitely more than the Newport (onsite and overpriced, IMO).
Get and use Fastpasses. Big Thunder's FPs run out earliest. If you can, go there first, get an FP and ride it (it's so good, you'll want to do it at least twice). Go on Pirates. Be sure to go on Space Mtn! And don't forget to stop in and see the fabulous dragon under the castle!

it's line A of the RER and it's the final stop also, from Nation station it takes about 30-40 minutes. Now, the best days to go are monday, tuesday, thursday and friday... wednesday being the day off for schoolers in France.
and the 17th is also Fathers day here.
Enjoy
