I am visiting the park this weekend and purchased a package from Getaway Today Vacations, like I have several times in the past. This time I didn't receive a voucher for my tickets, but rather was told that my "electronic tickets" will be available at any ticket booth for pickup. Just give them my name and show ID and they will print the tickets. Has anyone else used this "electronic ticket" method? It feels strange not to have anything in my hand the verifies that I have paid for the tickets.

I too just received my package and have the same feelings that you do, it just seems a little strange not having a voucher that states just what kind of ticket you are turning it in for.

i did this in january - i took along my getawaytoday receipt as a precaution but i didn't need it - just handed over my passport at a ticket window and they printed out my ticket right away. no drama at all.

I was worried about this too. It does sound easier though. Can you go to any ticket window to get your tickets?

Yes - I just took it to the first ticket window I came to. I had all my paperwork, and the creditcard I used to pay for my getaway package, just in case there was a problem, but the whole thing took about 30 seconds and was no hassle at all.

Thank everyone for that info. Sounds like there won't be a problem. Seems everything is going paperless and electronic these days...even the "happiest place on earth"!

The Disneyland resort launched a new ticketing system that allows people to print tickets at home thru online service. They have also had a will call style service. Jut go to any window or the guest relation window outside the park and show an id with information and your tickets will be printed.
Another thing they added with the print at home ticket is elimination of having to go to any ticket booth. All you do is take your printed sheet that would contain a barcode to any gate. The barcode would be scanned and a ticket would automatically print at the gate with no need to wait in the ticket window line.

I bought a package in March and they printed out my character meal vouchers at the GCH when i checked in. I had already bought park hopper tickets through AAA but I wonder if they would have printed out the tickets at the hotel.

Just out of curiosity is your name printed on the ticket or are they just regular tickets that you get? We are going to buy a ticket for my mom but she may not come so we want my brother to be able to use it if my mom cannot make it.
