first one in here baby!

first, i want to say where was the DIG Update this week. was this all WDW week or soemthing? and since next week is DLP week does that mean no DIG update. say it ain't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since we took MousePlanet live last July (and for quite a while before that) Al had taken exactly zero days off. In addition to the DIG updates, he also handled the daily publishing duties and much of the image processing (creating the tiles you see on the front page every day and just making all of our stuff look good).

It was about time for him to get away for a little while and we pushed him out the door for some rest. So, yes, there won't be any DIG update from Al this week but I am sure you will see him soon enough after that. Hopefully the slate of articles we have planned on Paris this week will be of interest to everybody.

well, let Al know that he does a hell of a job and his dedication along with all of yours is what makes mouseplanet the #1 sight on the web for DIsneyland in Anaheim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that everyone needs to take a break from work sometimes. I hope Al is having a much-needed restful vacation.

In the future, though, can you provide some sort of "Best Of DIG" or something like that? Display the most informative or interesting questions/answers from your DIG archives. Show it when Al is on vacation. Radio/TV stations do this type of things when their talk hosts go on vacation, so why not do it here on MousePlanet?

The DIG archives are ALWAYS available for readers to search through - even when Al's not on vacation. While Al is a big part of MousePlanet, there are a dozen or so other writers who contribute to the site daily. It's not as if MousePlanet closed up shop. :)

Remember, there are a few other parks out there - it's good to catch up on the rest of the world!

I'm sure Al will be thrilled to see how many people missed him.
