Boo's Mommy, the 4th night free deal is for the hotel only. You can book it separately or through a package.
ubaisore, I'm sorry I missed your question earlier. My guess is that the only way you'd be able to get one night in a view room and the rest in a standard is if you did it as 2 separate bookings. I don't know of any way to change the room category unless maybe you could arrange that through a travel agent.

Just be aware that AAA has a cheaper price because they get a discount on the room portion of the package. When the 4th night free comes out, you can't have both. Your either get the cheaper AAA package with the room discount, or AAA will give you the 4th night free, but the hotel discount goes away. Of the two, the 4th night free has still been cheaper for our family!

Agent, that is not what I was told by my AAA travel agent! She called WDTC and they told her we'd get the 4th night free, which would be deducted from our balance. We'd have to pay the $25 change penalty. I sure hope that's true. If not, it sounds like they would completely redo the cost @ Disney prices and then charge the $25, which if I'm figuring right would only save about $40. But why couldn't they just remove one night @ AAA price? Double disounting isn't allowed?

We also have the annual passes. When will the AP nights be available for passholders? Right now they are only offering 10% off regular rates.

We did the 4th night free last fall, which was offered at the Disney hotels (we stayed at the GCH). We made reservations in September and traveled in October. We booked the package online through Alaska Airlines and they were offering 10% off the entire package (even with the 4th night free!). With all the discounts, it turned out to be a much better deal than the "kids fly free" promotions.
