Travel dates: May 7 - 11
Travel method: Airplane, Rental Car (Alamo)
Resort: Animal Kingdom Lodge
Accommodations: Savannah View
Ages Represented in Group: 42, 38, ~4
WDW Experience Represented in Group: at least 20 visits combined
Comments: Nice hotel amenities (long walk to room, especially carrying a sleeping child) with great view of the animals.
Positives: Well-maintained, Boma restaurant (buffet) was excellent, excellent staff/service, savannah view, decent pool, decent playground area, bunk beds plus queen bed, quieter surroundings since away from everything.
Is it worth $400 per night? Personally, I think no (we paid much less anyway). I like Boardwalk better. Equal in personality to Fort Wilderness Lodge.
