I was at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood a couple of weeks ago, and I noticed that one of the interchangable films in the "Emaginator" theatres is called "Stormrider". The person working the outside of the theatre didn't have a clue, but does anyone know if this is a way that I can preview a TDS attraction (at least the film portion), in California?

I doubt very much it's the "Stormrider" as TDS since this is UNIVERSAL you are talking about -- not Disney.

Yes, but I thought "maybe the OLC can do what they want with their properties", but I went back the other day, and the Emaginator "Stormrider" poster at Universal says something like "copyright 1997", so they probably just chose the same name.

Disney and their attorneys are probably well aware of that situation and if, in fact, somebody else had already copyrighted the name for an attraction you can guess that Disney paid whatever was necessary or found the correct legal loopholes which allowed them to use that name at TDS (probably the latter rather than the former .......)
