While we were in Laughin, there's this casino with a new multi-player game called "Who Wants To Win A 100,Grand?", a game where the player is decided by "Fastest Finger" slot tourment, then goes to the "Hot Seat", where (instead of questions), they have colored balls in a Keno like bin, where the player guesses a color(s) of the next ball that comes out. If Right, they advance to the next level, if wrong, they can use a "Lifeline", ether "50-50", "Ask The Audience", or "Page A Friend." If out of lifelines, and wrong, they drop down to the last "Safe Haven". You Get the idea.

The game isn't why I was thinking of droping a note to Disney, it's the fact they use the music, the same Lifeline Icons, the same "Diamond" shaped icons, exact same hot seats, 100$ bills infront of the seat, even the "Final Answer" question.

Now the big question:
Should I Care? As a Disney Geek, I do. But, should I drop a note to Disney regarding the matter?

I'm guessing, but I suspect this was officially licensed by the copyright holder.

It just didn't look all that Kosher, things seemed like they didn't licence it.

They also had a knockoff of Plinko, a while back, but got yanked suddenly one day, no message, no nothing, it was just gone.

Disney dosn't own Millionaire, they licence it. The website of the Brittish company that sells the licenses is here: http://www.wwtbam.com

If you look on all the merchandise that is associated with it Valleycrest productions owns the rights I believe. Plus it's not probably going to matter a ton to valleycrest since other shows have also made "clones" (mostly in spoof) on millionare and the game designer could probably get out of the case if he is good.

Also the only "general game" that casinos have to pay royalties to is Carribean Poker since all the other games are generally so old that no one holds any rights to it.
