HB Tigger Fan 06-13-2002, 04:33 PM Remember on SNL "Deep Thoughts with Stewart Smalley"?
Deep thoughts: When playing Diablo sometimes I hit the "windows" key on accident. Maybe its sublimial that I don't want to play anymore.
Your turn
MickeyD 06-13-2002, 04:42 PM My deep thought: Deep thoughts is actually with Jack Handey. :D
My other deep thougt: John Lithgow should have won an oscar for "Footloose", I mean, have you ever paid attention to the scene where he has to show his shame at his daughter for dancing at a drive-in?
Ayuh, it would be "Deep Thoughts (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0425133656/ref%3Dase%5Fhutchvilleonline/)" by Jack Handey, all right.
Stuart Smalley was another regular SNL character though, played by Al Franken. There's even a movie, "Stuart Saves His Family (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0114571)."
HB Tigger Fan 06-13-2002, 06:13 PM OK, Jack Handey.
Al Franken played Stewart Smalley?? I have a book written by AL Franken. I didn't know he was an actor too.
MickeyD 06-13-2002, 06:16 PM Is it his newest book that he's been promoting that's a spin off of "Oh, the Places you'll go"? That looks funny to me. I've always thought Al Franken was pretty entertaining.
MonorailMan 06-13-2002, 09:08 PM My Deep Thoughts:
Sometimes I get annoyed that our next trip to DL seems like forever, because I see all kinds of Disney stuff. Yet even though I'm annoyed, I always look. So am I really annoyed?
HB Tigger Fan 06-13-2002, 09:23 PM I miss Tim :(
gwegowy 06-13-2002, 10:14 PM We used to take uncle hug-a-lot to Disneyland all the time. Boy, was he ever affectionate. Than, one day, uncle hug-a-lot swallowed cousin Patrick and we realized uncle hug-a-lot was really a 15 ft python!
HB Tigger Fan 06-13-2002, 10:56 PM I still miss Tim.

Yeah, real deep... almost kiddy pool level.:D j/k
You know that even the smallest reaction (for example a diamond reverting back to graphite) affects the entire disorder for the universe?
HB Tigger Fan 06-13-2002, 11:28 PM yea, kiddie pool level but I really really really miss Tim
Did you ever notice how the most self-centered people always complain when something isn't about them?
Nigel2 06-13-2002, 11:38 PM Speaking of that...:D
Oh well back to something else...
People as a whole are very odd, they feel pseudo deep connections to things they have absolutly nothing to do with. (I am trying not to go too far with this thought at the moment)
SoCalSnowWhite 06-14-2002, 07:44 AM Nigel, I'm feeling the whole post!! I know what you mean.... i will ponder this as my deep thought for the day.

Cadaverous Pallor 06-14-2002, 11:32 AM Thanks for the link, grrl. I used to love Deep Thoughts, before Handey really started to suck. ;)
My deep thought I've been pondering lately has to do with truth. There are so many truths out there, real, hard facts, that no one will ever know. For instance, exactly how many spiders are within a 50 foot radius of my current position? Exactly how many times have I eaten waffles for breakfast over my entire lifetime? When was the actual happiest moment of my life, so far? These are all facts that no one can ever know, but that exist, nonetheless. Weird, eh? Billions of bits of information, and we are all ignorant of them.
Gemini Cricket 06-14-2002, 12:24 PM Here are 2 deep thoughts someone once told me:
1. One of the rides at Disneyland will be the next one to go away forever.
2. Imagine your ideal dream job. (The job you would do if you knew you could not fail at it...) This is the job you should be doing and not the one you're currently at.
Deeeeep!
;)
Geez, people! You're just giving this gold away!
If Andy Rooney can get paid for this, why not you? (And that's MY deep thought.)
GeminiAngel 06-14-2002, 06:39 PM Random thought: will roger clemens get hit by a 100 MPH fast ball!!!! HEE HEE!!!! he deserves it!!!!
HTHBellcaptain 06-14-2002, 07:22 PM My random thought, "I just ate a snow pea flavored cracker. Whoo came up with the idea of making a snow pea cracker?
MonorailMan 06-14-2002, 07:38 PM More Disneyland Deep Thoughts:
1. I wasn't around when Walt was, therefore I have never seen his Disneyland, only parts of it, therefore I can never truly say I've been to "Walt's Theme Park"
2. Disneyland is a very small place, therefore, why do I compare it to Huge WDW?
3. Space Mountain is painted gold, therefore I have never rode the original SM, because the paint has changed.
4. In Innoventions ever has a fire on the second floor, how do you exit while still following the first CMs rule, "Exits Are On The 2nd Floor".
5. The Haunted Mansion's streching rooms are elevators, therfore when someone asks me my favorite elevator, I can say "HM". :)

Going back to cosmic disturbance...
The single flap of butterfly in theory can be the cause of mass energy waves that eminate out for eons and eventually build up and destroy entire galaxies...
