hi, this is my first post.
my name is brigit-i have a 3yr old grrl & 4.5yr old boy and dh & i have been taking them to disneyland every year now for 2 years. its become our only family vacation and all though we only spend a weekend it's great because we know there is always something new to see the next time we come. dh is a native californian and has many childhood memories of the park. my own father used to fly with me out to disneyland from boston every year for my birthday, so it is such a heart warming thing to share this family tradition with my own children......in fact, i can remember waiting in line for small world when i was a preteen and thinking---"the next time i go on this ride it will probably be with my own kids" and everytime we go now i get all choked up just thinking about it. there are a lot of good memories for us in that park.
ANYWAY-i know a lot about disneyLAND but have only been to disneyWORLD once 15 years ago and i'm sure a lot has changed since then. my mom is hosting a trip there in february for me & the kids & my 2 teenage sisters. we are staying for 4 days.
any words of wisdom from WDW experts would be most helpful. especially keeping in mind that we already "do" disneyland every year. what is a MUST SEE for one child obsessed with the princesses and the other a adventureland/tom sawyer island lover?
