I was just wondering, do you have to wait until the park opens to rent a stroller, or do they let you do it a short time before the park opens?

Are you talking about Disneyland or WDW?

At Disneyland, it depends on where the stroller rental is. When it's in the Esplanade, you might be able to rent it before the gates open but I can't confirm it.

When the rental is inside the parks, you can rent a stroller when the gates open. If there's a rope drop, that may be 30 minutes before the official opening time. When it's an Early Entry day, that's when you get in the park, either at EE or when the park officially opens.

I was at Disneyland before opening today. They had the tent sent up in the Main Entrance Plaza (outside the parks), and they had one cashier runnning the place at 7:30 AM, which is 30 minutes prior to park opening, and no early entry that day. It looked like it just opened.

The line wasn't long, and they had a couple of other CM's handing out the strollers and wheelchairs.

I know during busy spring break they moved the stroller rental to the esplanade - have they moved it back inside the park yet?

Thanks!

Still outside in the Main Entrance Plaza as of yesterday.

When it is set up outside we always rent the stroller prior to gates opening. It is much easier that way. The last 3-4 times we have been there it has been set up just to the right of the gates.
