Howdy,

The wife and I are all excited about the trip (even though it's about 400 days away). Our plan is to get there a day early and hit the Magic Kingdom.

After have a great time on the boat we plan on doing Disneyland for a day before flying back home to go to work.

Think about the coolness of the "Coast to Coast Compare and Contrast"....but without the "capilary system" style of modern travel. (Airport line waiting, bus-like airplane conditions...baggage claim)

Oh, The Joy.

I was wondering if there was a group of folks that were interested in getting off the boat fairly early in L.A. and strolling out to a bus that was chartered to take folks to the Disneyland Resort Area (Drop off at the three on property hotels).

Then folks from the bus could part ways with friendly waves and continue upon their vacations.

Is this of interest to anyone?

Chris

The word is that DLR "MIGHT" have a Pin Trading Night when the Westbound Repo arrives on May 25, 2008. It was suggested to Timm (the DLR pin guru) and he said he was thinking about that already.

This would probably be easier for the people picking us up. They wouldn't get lost driving to the port, we could stay for the aforementioned Pin Trading Night and not have to go home and then back to the park.

And Chris, I know what you mean about being excited. My wife and I have watched the entire DCL DVD and watched The Travel Channel special on the cruise line Sunday. It was updated from the last one we saw. And we've been to numerous Web sites and think we know almost everything there is to know, but know that's not the case.

We're ready to leave this May, not next May, except for the fact it's not paid for and we are applying for our passports on Monday (already filled out the forms and have our photos ready).

Oh, and as for when the cruise is, check the countdown below.
