I've tried searching the official Walt Disney World site (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdwi/en_CA/index) for various info and just can't seem to find ANYTHING. A search for "fireworks" comes up with "your search yielded 0 results"; ditto for "illusions cruise", "wishes cruise", "pirates cruise" and "animal kingdom safari".

Is it just that the search function doesn't work well (I've encountered that problem on other websites) or am I a total technotard??????

It's not just you, it seems like it's easier for me to find stuff on the site by just kind of wandering around, than by using the search option.

It could be that there's a problem with the search function. It doesn't make sense that a search on fireworks would yield 0 results, but I got the same as well.

Not only is their web site buggy all over the place...but it's often so slow to kick into gear! Probably still using those old Go Network servers.

Where did you get that link? The Disney World site is at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index. At least that is the one that comes up if you just go directly to http://www.disneyworld.com. When I go to the main site, the search terms you listed return appropriate results. The page you used does seem to have a broken search mechanism.

EDIT: I just figured out that you are looking at the Canadian site rather than the US one. Looks like the search feature has problems on the Canadian site...
