View Full Version : Maybe Al Needs to Read His Site's Info

I just thought it humorous today that Al had to recant his comments on the Spiderman show at Universal. While he was out of the country there was much talk here about the poor quality of that show and the reason it wasn't more tightly integrated with the movie. I can only imagine how bad it would have been had this show been installed at DCA instead of USH!

I guess he just couldn't take the time to read a little and get his facts straight before starting right in on the DCA bashing again...

Al doesn't read MousePad, nor should he be obligated to. Besides, a lot of what gets passed off as "facts" here on MousePad doesn't come from the most reliable of sources. Okay, you may now start right in on the Al bashing again…

Where, on the boards? Do I have to remind you yet again that AL DOESN'T READ THE BOARDS.

Plus he was just giving his initial impression of the show -- and he has a valid point that the majority of the people seeing the show won't know that Uni only has rights to the comic book. They'll just see a poorly executed show with no tie-ins to the popular movie and wonder why.

Al doesn't read MousePad
AL DOESN'T READ THE BOARDS

Okay, I will kindly refer you to the title of this thread. Sheesh, I guess more people than Al need remedial reading comprehension courses...

How does Mousepad, in any way, constitute "His Site's Info"? Mousepad is a discussion board. All sorts of rumors and stuff are always flying around making this a very bad place to "get one's facts straight". And with people constantly bashing him, I can't blame Al for staying away.

No, Al does not need to read MousePad, and, just in case you didn't see it the first time, NO, AL DOES NOT NEED TO READ MOUSEPAD.

According to the phrase "his site's info" (in the title of the thread) I can only assume you mean this right here (http://www.mouseplanet.com/usig/shows.htm), which says nothing about the Spiderman show at all, at least as of my writing this.

However, in your original post, you wrote:

If you were referring to another update on this site (dare I suggest that you could be thinking about something on another site?), please provide a link so that MP readers know what you're talking about and don't misinterpret what you're trying to say.

And now that you're all angry, instead of kindly  referring us to the title of your thread (which is as ambiguous as your post) or to remedial reading comprehension courses, why don't you instead kindly clarify your original post? I'm sure no one will hold it against you if you tell us what you meant instead of insulting us.

Iceman, I think your sphincter is cutting off circulation to your brain. Don't insult me if you don't want a flame war. Again.

Everybody knock it off right now.

Regardless of perceived provocation, there will be NO flamewars.

Iceman, tone it down. Hyperboy calm it down.

Yes, I meant MousePad. In other threads defending Al the entire MousePlanet site has been described as "his", therefore I assumed (my first mistake, perhaps?) that he is somehow in charge of/owns/runs the whole she-bang. My second mistake was being vague, as Matterhorn Fan pointed out. Does this clear things up?

In a closely related vein, if Al considers himself a knowledgable source of all things Disney, why does he ignore such a potential treasure trove of information as the MousePad? Granted there are as many rumors and innuendos as facts, but that's no different than his other sources, it seems.

The About page (http://www.mouseplanet.com/mp/about.htm) lists Al as "Editor-in-Chief". I don't think that includes the domain of Mousepad.

This is entirely o/t, and probably more info than you really wanted, but if it will help to clarify the situation for you, here goes:

MousePlanet.com and MousePad are owned by MousePlanet, Inc, a California corporation that has a number of shareholders, one of whom is Al.

Al is the Editor-in-Chief of MousePlanet.com. He neither reads, moderates or participates on MousePad.

Who is the CEO of this corporation?

Friendly?????? Watch your back with that chickie.;)

Actually, that only counts if you are a troll or just generally rude an oboxious. Someone has to keep us in line. AVP and the other 2 graces do a good job, IMHO.

Well! If Sock Puppets were not allowed, I would register a new screen name just to get you, (and your little cat too).

Maybe I'll just change my user name to Not Amused. :D

(Ok, so I'm Slightly Amused, but it doesn't have the same ring to it)
