I just wondered what this egg (http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j242/Vegitabeta/Disneyland%20Resort%20Paris/?action=view¤t=AdventurelandEgg.jpg) near the entrance to Adventureland is for. Probably only decoration? It's just it doesn't really seem to fit the theming...Ideas?

Looks like a Roc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roc) egg, perhaps.

Still not sure how it fits in...I'm sure it has a reason!

Still not sure how it fits in...I'm sure it has a reason! From the Wiki entry Andrew linked to above:...references to the roc are found as early as the 8th century from Middle-Eastern authors...
I'd say that fits in with the area where the egg is located -- the Middle-Eastern bazaar.

The Adventureland Bazaar is themed around the stories from "One Thousand and One Nights." The egg was left by the legendary Roc Bird which is represented in the Sinbad stories. That is how the egg fits into the area.
Pokey:)
