Wendi 07-13-2007, 09:47 PM Yeah, I always book that rate if it is available. The deal is that they aren't refundable tickets. However, you can still cancel and keep the credit for a future flight (if you call SWA they might also just give you a refund... they're pretty nice about that stuff!) This is a normal ticket, not standby. Go for it. SuefromRI 07-14-2007, 07:24 AM Internet special means you have to book it on-line, you can't call, and it might only be available for a limited time at that price. It does not affect your actual flight at all. As stated, it is usually non-refundable, but if you cancel you get that $ amount credited to be used on a future flight to be used in one year. cstephens 07-14-2007, 12:11 PM has anyone ever purchased the "internet special" from southwest. they are offering 50 bucks one way, philly to mco. does this mean I could be bumped? or waiting for standby? what is the catch? That's what I try to book if I can because it's so much cheaper. No difference. I know, I tried to figure out what the catch was also. I don't book until I know exactly when I'm going, so cancelling is never an issue for me. There are usually only a limited number available. |
