Sorry we did not say hi Adrienne. We only saw you when you were up in front of everyone, we did talk a little last spring in the Farm area of DCA. I'm impressed and proud of them!! This was only their 2nd Mouse Adventure and they really improved their score since last time. Maybe someday soon I'll get them to play Advanced with/against us.

Yeah, the perfectionist in me counts this one as a 4th place finish, or at least a 3rd with an asterisk (ya know, like when a figure skater wins the world championships in an Olympic year when the best skaters aren't competing)... our goal in life is to beat the Brother Bears at least once!!

Would you say it's fair to take our advanced score and use it to figure out how we would have placed if we played in the basic division? For example, we had 623 points total in the advanced division. So when we look at the basic division, does that mean we would have placed 5th if we played in that division? (Not that we are competitive or anything :D )

There were more points possible in Advanced than in Basic, so I'm thinking the answer is "no." You can probably figure out though how many points you got on everything but the D & E quests (answers are in another thread, I think - I'm getting confused now) & then figure out where you would have placed in Basic.

Ohmigosh, earlier today, I saw the results and how we ranked. Then, on the post-game thread I saw AVP say there was an error in the scoring and my enthusiasm froze! :eek: Did something happen and that unbelieveable fifth place rank I saw us have be changed to something drastically lower!!?

I see now we placed at sixth but because another team finally got points they deserved and moved ahead of us, not that we were docked points. Phew! :p This was our second MA; it's nice to see our score heading in the right direction. Congrats to all the teams, and especially to those like us, who found out they did better than expected. Looking forward to seeing you all again at the next MA.
