I am TOTALLY injury free. I decided to bite the bullet and not do ANYTHING for the whole month of Feb. It was hard, and I gained a few pounds, but my shin splints are gone. You dont know how good it feels to run without my shins hurting. Now, I just need to stay injury free. I've been injured the last two years. I think maybe I've been coming back from injury too soon and have been increasing my mileage too fast.
It's amazing how fast you can get out of shape. I ran 3 miles Saturday and thought I was going to die! :D
