okay all you disney Cruisers... i have a couple of questions for you.
I heard that DCL will be on the west coast in 08 I have always wanted to take a cruise & I think a Disney one would be perfect. this is my concern.
My kids will be 6yrs & 4yrs. will they be too young for a cruise? have any of you ever taken small children on a cruise?

So wait or go this is my question....

I think it is the perfect to take your children on a cruise. Disney Cruise Line probably has the best Children's program on board the ship and the staff really know how to work with families. Also, because it is a Disney Cruise, it is expected that would be a large number of children onboard the ship. I have sailed on many cruise lines before and have sailed with many young children and nowhere was it more fun for me as an adult then with Disney. I haqve no children of my own but several members of my family have young children and it was wonderful to see how well the children got along with everyone else on the ship. Also, my young niece and nephew loved the children's activities and my Brother and Sister-in-Law loved it because, when the children were ready to leave, the parents had to come get their children, there was no way that anyone other then the parents, unless the parents designated someone, could get the chldren.

Also, the children had a wonderful time on the cruise and had a great time in the ports of call as weel. We sailed on the Eastern Caribbean sailing. My only comment is that the Disney trips are a premium product and as such you tend to pay a bit more but, I think, worth every penny.
