Yup, I'll take any change at the top, no matter who it is. Chances are, whomever takes over the reigns will, for a brief while at least, eye Disneyland as a great new toy. A few years of high times at the Park are usually the result.

Since when has Drudge given a rodent's defecatory orifice whether anything on his site has any truth in it?
(Reformed reactionary smear-artist David Brock has some choice words about Drudge in his expose, "Blinded By the Right.")

Be careful what you wish for.
Not having that much of an opinion on the top brass now, I can still think of a number of different people (maybe not exact names, but types at least) that would be worse at the job.

I wouldn't trust what that person has to say about anyone or anything either. There was a report not long about how Brock has misstated and twisted various aspects of his life and the situations and people he's been involved with.
BTW, this web site has too many different message boards...postings keep getting moved all over the place, making it more difficult for some of us to see a lot of messages without having to take the time to switch from board to board.

I disagree about there being too many different sections. The sections are designed so that you read what you want to read without having to wade through everything. Yes, if you have a few different interests, you'll have to look in a few different sections. Better than having to deal with subjects in which you have absolutely no interest.
As for postings getting moved around, they're only moved because they were started in the wrong section.
I think the section names are pretty self-explanatory and easy to figure out.

There are some among the staff who agree with you - I believe the term Alex likes to use is "Forum Creep", and he thinks we have about 15 too many. :D
There are some sites out there that have a different forum for each day of the week it seems, and others that have one per continent, period. We like to think that we have found a happy medium between those extremes.
Posts are moved only when they are posted to the wrong forum in the first place, and we choose to leave a redirect so people don't think that threads are being deleted. "Hey, I know I saw a thread in here about XYZ, where did it go"?
The NEWS and ANNOUNCMENTS forums are limited to posts from Moderators only. At the request of many posters, we have begun to create a thread in the relevant forum as a way for people to discuss the headlines. The most recent forum to be added, (and the first new forum in months), was a direct result of this - there wasn't a place to dicsuss general Disney company news.
If there are forums that you think should be deleted outright, you can always drop a moderator a note and give us your suggestions. We won't be starting a wholesale closeout of forums because of just one request, but we are always looking for feedback.
