We've decided to skip KSC, since it may not be very 2 year old friendly. We are now considering SeaWorld or Silver Springs. (We went to both last year.) Eventhough SS is rough around the edges, and much smaller, my kids really like it because it is slower paced, no lines etc... They loved holding the gators, snakes etc... and feeding the giraffe. Our other option is Busch Gardens. (We get free passes to SW or BG since we're a military family.) I don't know much about it at all. It will be a little less than a two hour drive from my parents house, I'm not sure that I want to spend a big part of the day in the van. If it would be an incredible experience for my kids (11, 7, and 2) it would be worth it though.

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi ya monkeysmom -
I live in Tampa and have been to Busch Gardens several times. It's not Disney (what is? :)) however there are a ton of great rides, rollercoasters, floom rides, etc. (fine for younger children as well) The shows are terrific. The Dolphin Show is one of my favorites. It's not a tremendously huge park but you'll certainly be worn out when you're heading to the parking lot. They have wonderful animal exhibits too! The Siberian Tigers are just beautiful.
You can get a peek by going to www.buschgardens.com

If these things interest you and your family, I would definitely recommend taking the drive.

Hope you have a wonderful time!
