I just heard this too. I think it was on the WDW Radio Show podcast with Lou Mongelo, but I took it as being part of the idea for their urban complexes along with Niagra Falls being a target.

I just relistened before I posted and Lou did mention some of this in his Rumor Mill section. BUT AT THIS POINT IT IS ONLY RUMOR.

The rumor mill on this forum has considered the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to be a possible site

To pull a standard answer that I use to answer the many emails I get on this topic:

As far as the rumored theme park in <fill in name of location here>, if Disney did buy the land, I feel pretty certain that it will not be used for a theme park. Disney has been rumored to be building parks all over the United States. Many times, Disney actually buys land in those places. However, it's never been for theme parks.

Frequently, it will be for office space. Phone centers for the parks or for the Disney Catalog, merchandise warehouses, offices for one of their many subsidiaries. Sometimes, it's just for real estate investment. If Disney were to build another theme park in the United States, which is highly doubtful, it would most likely be in the center of the country, about halfway between their two existing resorts to avoid as much diversion from current travel patterns as possible.

So to sum up, highly doubtful, even if they're buying land there.

Disney's Omaha Adventure?
Nope, Disney's Kansas (http://ludb.clui.org/ex/i/KS3129/) Adventure.

Maybe the Busch family would be smart enough this time not to annoy Walt Disney (he's harder to annoy this days, I imagine) and they could go back to St. Louis.

Disney's Omaha Adventure?

Do they really want a park where the acronym is DOA?

(I know, I know, I'm completely opening this up to the DCA bashers.)

I think a good place for a new park would be in Australia, or New Zealand. I've always seen a lot of Australian fans on disney forums.

I could see a Sydney Disneyland.

I think Disney should get off the stick and finally build a second Park in Anaheim.

Howdy,
New to this board.
But Disney Texas Rumors used to be my hobby.

Rumors from Disney in San Antonio, North of Houston, Katy, North of Dallas,
etc. have been around many years. Probably the nail in a new Disney Resort in the USA happened when DISNEY AMERICA failed to be built near Washington DC.

I used to have a website devoted just to Texas Disney Rumors.

Located in Texas, of course a Disney Texas in my opinion would be great.
But it could not be another Magic Kingdom.

My suggestion would be you have Disneyland, Walt Disney World, I like the name DisneyCountry. Of course with a western theme or using some of the ideas from the DISNEY AMERICA park.

Maybe one day,
DisTex
