I'm curious, does anyone run/workout in Target's Champion brand of active wear?

I have a couple of the long sleeve t-shirts and I like them a lot.

I'd love to be able to AFFORD Under Armour gear but it's just so freakin' expensive! Good, but expensive.

I haven't bought any, but there were some other women in my TNT group that really liked the techwear shirts from Champion at Target.

I have some spandex shorts that I bought, but I don't like them as well as my Nike ones. They don't stay up as well, so I have to keep hiking them up.

My wife has a few shirts from there. She likes them. Most of my shirts are nike or reebok. Not that I'm too good to wear shirts from Target, its just that Kohls usually has really good end of season sales and I pick them up for about $10.
She does have a champion sports bra that she got at the expo at Disney that she said is her best one yet. What ever it is, just make sure its 100% polyester.

Champion is not "by" Target, although it's quite possible Target and Champion have some co-branding relationship. You can purchase Championwear in other stores.

One great place for super cheap tech fabric shirts is Campmor.com. Look for Duofold (but unless you want to wear under-layer clothing for the winter, look for the hi-tec sweat-wicking workout shirts). Very affordable. Just read the descriptions carefully to make sure you're buying the right thickness shirts.

I think that's how I meant to word it...:)

I have a bunch of cold weather gear, Brooks and Reebok, but I'm in the market for some new stuff.

Lani, thanks for the link and advice.

I LOVE the Champion long-sleeved tech gear that I got at Target. It fits nice and snug as a first layer, but still moves easily - not restricting at all. I also have a strappy cami-type that I actually wore in the marathon this year - no chafing at all. My only complaint would be that they tend to run long and bunch up a bit at my middle. As for shorts, I prefer Reebok or Addidas ($10 at the Outlets near my house).....Today, though, too much snow and ice to think about shorts!!

I buy a lot of Champion running clothes from Target. I also by the Target Pro Spirit line, which is OK. I like their Coolmax running socks -- 3 pair for $4.99. I know a lot of runners who pay $10 - 20 a pair for their socks. I don't have much experience with the cold weather clothes, but the shorts and shirts are great for wicking away sweat.

I love them!!! I've paid $10-$20 for a pair of socks in the past and to be perfectly honest, I found nothing different in them as opposed to my Target specials. I'm pretty sure a more serious type runner would be able to tell some type of difference but hey, these work for me. (and I'm glad they work for you) :)

I've always worn Adidas shorts, until I discovered Race Ready shorts. Soooo much better than anything out there.
