Just wondering if this is something to skip with two 5 year old boys? The description reads that it is for Princesses and Knights, I assume to include boys, but is this really too girly? One of my boys is definitely anti-girly stuff, the other is still a little more innocent and naive. So, I don't know if the thrill of seeing characters up close in a fun setting is enough to offset the prissiness of the event? Maybe this is one thing that we don't need to schedule into our day?
Thanks,
Amy

It is very much girly, with two 5 year old boys I'd definetly skip it. Go for the Jedi Training Academy instead.

Thanks!Good to know. My DD is 8, and very much a TomBoy(self proclaimed). We thought we could do the Knight training, but she would be very ticked if I took her to a "GIRLY" event!

When we went I don't recall seeing very many knightly things going on. Maybe how to bow properly as a knight, but it's mostly princess stuff. Twirling/dancing and walking around a May Pole type thing.

You may also want to check the Sword in the Stone cermony that happens generally several times a day. They pick a boy or girl from the auidence to try and pull the sword from the stone. It's short and you don't need to get there early at all as people just crowd around when the hear Merlin coming in.

Not fun, especially if you hear "I waited for THAT!" The Jedi Academy would have been more for my girls than the princess stuff. We won't be taking my nephew when we go.

Yes, she is really looking forward to the Jedi Training event! That is way more up her alley, and I should'nt here too many complaints. Well, no more than the usual "fun" attitude of an 8 year old that is!

I was telling my dd that is 8 about the princess thing and she also said she would rather do the jedi training. She said she would check out the princess thing for me though as long as she does not miss the jedi training.

That's the wait for the meet and greet. If you want to do story telling or the coronation, just show up a few minutes before show time.
