Our Tip of the Week is to use your cell phone to call the WDW Dining Line (407-WDW-DINE) while you're standing in line at an attraction to make dining reservations on the fly.

Our featured topic this week was a discussion of the Cinderella Castle suite and the Pirate & Princess Party at Walt Disney World. Mark talked a little bit about the tour and the Party, and we also played audio from the castle tour that Mark took, as well as two interviews that Mark did: one with Liliana Lorenzo (http://albums.mouseplanet.com/MouseStation005notes/lilianalorenzo_goldhaber.jpg), coordinator for the party, and one with Laura Offerdahl (http://albums.mouseplanet.com/MouseStation005notes/laura_offerdahl_goldhaber.jpg), producer for the party's special parade and fireworks. A special park guide page is available for the Pirate & Princess Party (http://www.mouseplanet.com/misc.php?pg=princesspirates_2007), and Mark plans to write a story about the castle suite in the near future. Here's a look at the display case (http://albums.mouseplanet.com/YOAMD/YOAMD_castle_upstairs_lobby_case_goldhaber.jpg) in the upstairs lobby of the castle suite.

This week's Featured Attraction is the Matterhorn Bobsleds (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=AAC107) at Disneyland Park.

This week's Review system spotlight focuses on Hollywood & Vine (http://www.mouseplanet.com/cgi/reviews/do/display.cgi?product-sku=wdwdmgmhollywoodandvinechars) at the Disney-MGM Studios.

This week's Magical Moment came from Jeri Stodola, who experienced some major magic surrounding a problematic reservation at Victoria & Albert's.

Question from listening to the podcast -
When did the Pep Rally move to the Studios, and where is it? During MouseFest, when I rode the TTA, I saw the stage in Tomorrowland.

I believed it moved towards the end of January, I want to say around Jan. 22-23 but I may be wrong. From what I understand it is now a parade/show that lasts about 11 minutes long and is performed several times a day.

Cathy, you're usually right on top of stuff from the weekly Updates. From this week's Update (http://www.mouseplanet.com/articles.php?art=wd070205mg):

High School Musical settles in at the Studios

Just a bit of catch-up here, as the High School Musical Pep Rally has been playing at the Disney-MGM Studios since January 22. The show travels on a flatbed truck down the parade route, stopping to do 11-minute shows along the route. The Rally makes the trip six times a day.

Wow, not quite sure how I missed that! I did see the stories right above and right below that. Maybe because I do recall looking at the picture right below it in detail, it didn't have time to stick into my brain?

I was GOING to say, 'Maybe it was because you didn't have the whole park update in the podcast', but since I LIKED how you just hit the highlights, and I liked how the news was in a different 'file' (not sure of the right podcast lingo on that), it would not make any sense for me to say that :D

Hey Mike and Mark, I just want to tell you guys that you are doing a really great job on the podcast. I really enjoyed the interviews and audio of the suite tour on this week's show. Keep up the good work, Mike :)
