Has anyone got any good advice regarding recovery from a pulled calf muscle. I pulled it playing tennis last week and applied a good night of RICE treatment o it. I had hoped it would come right during the week but I tried to go for a run tonight and could only manage a few minutes before my leg was telling me to go back to walking (Walking is fine as long it is on the flat).
The Physiotherapy school is open to staff here at the uni so I might pop in there tomorrow for an assessment but I was wondering if any of the runners here had some advice or suggestions that worked for them?
