Just trying to gather some general info. We will be going in June and my daughter will be in her 8th month of pregnancy. She knows that she won't be riding much, but I am wondering how late in pregnancy have any of you gone?

This was about 11 days before my due date (http://www.mouseplanet.com/archive/ma042901team.jpg).

That was the furthest I know for sure that I went.

Yep.

If it helps - he's not my youngest - you think YOU feel old....

And if it also helps... I was also 1,000,000 months pregnant at MouseAdventure in Spring of 2004 (http://www.mpimages.net/mp/compressed/mouseadventure/spring_2004/staff.jpg). So maybe you remember that one, too. ;)

I was at 6 months once. Felt fine. Just be sure she stays hydrated and takes everything at her own pace.

I know I was there Dec 22nd, 2001. My twins were born Jan 17th, 2002. So I was about 35 weeks

Well I'm 25 weeks now, with no signs of stopping. I don't know when my last day in the park before I deliver will be but since I was walking around the local malls days before I delivered, I don't see much difference in walking around DLR. I know I'll be back within a couple weeks after the baby is born for the opening of Nemo. DS was 12 days old for his first trip to DL, and we all survived, so again, not a big difference. But I'm not the type to slow down or stop, so this isn't unusual for me.

I visited when I was about 8 months along as well. You just have to take your time, sit when others are riding and you can't, and keep drinking water.

My daughter went about 5 days before giving birth, she had a date to be induced and thought maybe walking the parks could speed things along and avoid it..but ...didnt work. Also we took the newbe to the park at 5 days old since it was his big brothers 2nd birthday. The newbe was in a sling or stroller covered all the time except when mom had to stop and feed him.

I think it's important to consider how far away you will be from "home", how you'll be travelling and what your daughter's physician advises.

I only live a 30 minute drive from Disneyland and I know that there's a hospital near Disneyland that is in my insurance network. I also have a history of long labors  So being at Disneyland close to my due-date wasn't entirely an issue for me. It might be for someone with a different medical situation or different transportation.

That is very true. Many of us who live closeby probably went much closer to our due date that those who went as a big vacation.

I often used the park to try and walk my babies out too. I know with the twins I was the most pregnant (the biggest) but that was because they were twins. I actually went at 41 weeks with my oldest and climbed Tarzan's treehouse hoping it would help start labor. He still showed up a week and a half later. With my youngest I know I was there quite close to my due date as well. If they are telling you to walk to get that baby out there's no better place than Disneyland to do it, right?

We tried that too - but at Target. :~D It's a close second to Disneyland. Either way I'd end up spending money ;)

Disneyland sure beats Orange Mall, the Block, MainPlace Mall, the Spectrum, and Ikea any day! I'm so excited to have an AP with this pregnancy!

I went with my 18 month old DD, while 37-38 weeks. Just the 2 of us...in August (wanted to take DD one last time before DS was born.) Other than it being hot, I was OK.

We then took DS at about 5 weeks (after my c-section.)

Best thing...you can go at your own pace. I may not have been running, but I was fine walking all day (even walked instead of taking the tram.) I also had relatively easy pregnancies, and figured worst case...I'd have a baby at Disneyland. ;)

Target is a very close 2nd to Disneyland. I just went crazy there the other day getting tons of cute Valentine's Day stuff. I need to be careful there around any holiday at all :D

My water broke while I was standing in the checkout line at Target. Yep. It was a week til my due date and the kid couldn't wait to get out. We did make it to the hospital, it was another 19 hours before my son was finally delivered.

I went once at 6 months and once at 8 months - and I live over 1000 miles away - I wansn't worried because neither were my first child and I knew I wasn't going over my due date. Also, I live at 8,000 feet above sea level so It felt like HEAVEN being in california - I never got tired at all so I think it also depends on where you are from and the difference you will feel in elevation as well! There were only about six things I think I couldn't ride and I still had a blast both times. I did pack lots of extra pillows and body pillows so I would be comfortable at the motel regardless of the bed situation! I'm a little bit of a picky sleeper when I'm expecting!

I went at 9 months, also tried out the Disneyland Induction techinique and it got me no where... one word of advice - don't try to ride Small World or Pirates at 9 months - you will NOT have fun getting back out of the boat! (Learned the painfully hard way!)
