It's nearly 2 am and I am still an a high having just spent 4 days at Disneyland Paris.

We had a great time, just a little bit expensive!
The money spent was well worth it but Euros did seem to dissapear far more quickly in shops and resturants than Francs ever did, most was value for money though, some was not!

We stayed at the Sequioa Lodge, my second visit there. My first was with my then 1 year old daughter and wife and we enjoyed it. Since then we have stayed at both the Cheyenne and Santa Fe, this time ,my daughter is 4 going on 5. My verdict, this is not a hotel for families! The "cheaper" 2 are much better if you have young ones, my daughter even commented "why did we stay at this stupid, boring hotel!" The childrens activities are minmal compared to the Santa Fe, the resturants are far too stuffy for a tired family. I could go on and on but the bottom line is if have kids go for the Cheyenne or the Santa Fe.

Disney Studios;

I loved the place!
Yes it's small, very small but you have to go there knowing it's a work in progress with much more to come. At least Disney admit this is not a whole day park, with 1 day passes you can also visit the main park for the last 3 hours of the day. If only they admitted the same with the awful Animal Kingdom in WDW!

The shows are first rate. Animagique was excellent but it was Cinemagique that took first place in the Parks shows, better than anything I have seem at MGM Studios and I REALLY love that place!

Only 3 rides at the park, my daughter loved Aladdin which is an almost identical copy of the ride in the Magic Kingdom, she hates that one though, the difference is that the Paris version does not have the Camel spraying water at you (that drenched her last October!)
I LOVED the Rock N Roller coaster. The pre show is different to MGM, a little shorter. I have been told the coaster is also a little smaller but this I didnt notice. The actual ride at Paris is far superior to the Florida version. Back in October I found the MGM one to be a little rough and not wearing well, Paris is smooth as glass (if only I could say the same for Space Mountain) This ride will not let anyone down!
The Tram Ride I enjoyed but my daughter was reduced to tears by the "explosion in London" I wont say anymore as I done want to spoil the ride for anyone, little ones may not enjoy this ride though!

I'm off to bed now, I'll post the rest of my trip report tomorrow......

I really appreciated your information on your trip so far. I'm planning to take my daughter to Paris for her graduation gift next year. I was going to stay at Sequioa Lodge until I now. I can't wait for your next update. It sounds like to can do/see PD in a couple of day, it that true?

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! It's sounds like you all had a wonderful time. Paris, London... how exciting!

It's great to hear comparisons of the parks. I've heard Paris comparisons the least. I love hearing tidbits.

Cheers.
