Hi! I am going the last week in March and I have a few questions.:)
1.Are 5 days (total) too long at Disney and California Adventure? We are going Sat night - Wednesday
2.Is Ariel's Grotto a good place to take a almost 3 year old? and if so would her food be free (she will still be 2).
3.Also how do I get a "countdown" in my signature?
That's all for now!
Thanks :~D

Oh and one more question about Ariel's grotto. Is it best to buy your tickets in advance? They are $54.50 through AAA. Is that the same price if I were to buy it that day?
THANKS :)

Thanks :~DMost people think 5 days is good, you have time to relax this way. If the 2yo likes princesses, she will love the grotto. I am not sure if she is free or if you get the childrens meal half price. It is a menu meal, so I think others have said 1/2 the kids price. And if you are paying $54.50, you are paying for 2 adults, right? If so, you are getting a slight break.

1. Five days is perfect. We usually go for 4-5 days and manage to do everything we want.
2. We always hit Ariel's Grotto. My daughter loves the princesses (Cinderella and Ariel) and likes to dress up for the lunch. I've always been happy with the interaction with the Princesses and have never felt rushed trying to get the perfect picture. The food isn't bad and we've always had good service. My son is almost 2 and got a free toddler meal but my 3yr old had to pay. I believe 2 and over pay the children's price? Maybe someone else can confirm.
I don't know if it's better to buy the meal in advance but at least make your reservation early.
Have fun! We'll be there the week before you!

5 days isn't too many, IMHO, and I'm not really sure if there is a "too many" days for someone as addicted to Disney as I am. What's nice about staying longer is not feeling "rushed" or like you have to fit in "everything" in only a few days. When I'm on vacation, I like to take a leisurely pace with breaks back at the hotel for the kids to nap or swim, so the more days I have, the less stressed I am about doing all that I want to do.
I looked at the calendar for the days you will be there, and it looks like the fireworks are only scheduled for that first Sat. you arrive. You will not want to miss this.

I also think 5 days is perfect. I've done 3 in the past and always left feeling that I hadn't done all I wanted to do. By the end of my 5th day, I'm ready to go home (well, I'm never really ready to leave Disneyland, but I just mean that I feel that I have accomplished everything I wanted on that trip).
I haven't done Ariel's Grotto yet, but I'm seriously considering it this trip. My 8-year-old loves, loves, LOVES Ariel, and we've never done it before.

I think the 5 days is perfect, For Ariels Grotto, if your child is under 3 their meal will be free (we did this with our DD right before her 3rd bday). We did lunch, and it was really nice. I am not sure about the advanced tickets, but def make ressies.
