Ok I know this is a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone had ever been able to have child care so that both parents could do the marathon? My husband and I would really love to do the marathon together next year, but know that we would probably have to split up and have one do the half and the other do the full, but we're trying to find a way we could both run together, since none of our relatives would be available to watch our son. Any ideas?

You might want to check with Fairy Godmothers Sitting Service at 407-277-3724. They will do in-room sitting. Al their sitters tend to be at least in their upper 30s and are bonded and First Aid, etc., trained.

As long as you provide the money and authorization they will also take the children to meals. If you want them to take the children to a park, let them know in advance and they will provide someone who has an AP.

They also handle special needs kids.
