As Me and my family are going back to Florida again this year we want more of a relaxing time so was wondering if anyone knows of great food establishments around Universal as we will no doubt be visiting the parks 2 or 3 times while we are there.

The reason i ask is because most of the time we spend rushing back to I drive or Kissemmee to eat

Can anyone Help?

I can't remember of any around there, but if you just search on google you should be able to find plenty.

Be cautious as to where you eat in Universal though. I find all of the food there to be disgusting. Everywhere I have gone in both of their parks (never tried anywhere on Citywalk) was either cold or just tasted horrible. I ate at the "Nathan's" (wasn't even close to Nathan's) near Jaws in the older park and there was mold on all (there were 9 of us) of our bread, and my boyfriend had a bug crawling out of his fries. We all threw it out what we had left.

So try not to eat at "Nathan's"

I haven't been to Nathan's, but I went to a counter service restaraunt in Islands of Adventure called Comicbook Cafe and found that the food there was better than Disney's (the resort we were staying at). As for other counter service, we saw a Cinabon stand... Can never go wrong with those! :D And of course... You have to go to Hard Rock Cafe. It's on City Walk. Other places I saw on City Walk were Emerils (which we didn't go to because I have heard it's outrageously expensive... I don't know what your budget is like, but it might be interesting to check out) and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, which I have heard great things about.

Hmmm, Hard Rock Cafe. I used to love the chain, but I wasn't too happy with my last visit to the Los Angeles location, and I think the place in general has lost its appeal on me.

Emeril's might be interesting, but I guess we'd have to see what their dress code is like since we'll be dressed for the parks. I guess we should also see if they're busy and take reservations.

Anyone else have suggestions for dining locations inside USF and IOA?

Mythos (in IOA) is the top rated theme park restaurant in the world. They even have a banner that says so. ;) For USF, I recommend Lombard's Landing. My favorite CityWalk restaurant is NBA City. The best overall restaurant on property is Emeril's Tchoup Chop in the Royal Pacific hotel. In general, I usually find Universal's food to be notably superior to Disney's.

I would agree with Lombard's Landing for USF. Mythos was a bit overrated for food, but made up for it in atmosphere.

As for CityWalk, the food at the NASCAR Experience was excellent - quite unexpectedly so.
