I haven't seen the new version of Wicker Man (Nicholas Cage, bleh) but the original has a wonderful ending.
I haven't seen this movie, but today my hairdresser was asking if I had and said that she and her hubby just watched it and HATED the ending, and wouldn't recommend it.
My daughter wrote a paper on Grease and the innuendo of Greased Lightning, the late period and the bad messages (about changing your personality for a guy), etc. in the movie for her Women's Studies class. The play was even worse.
Speaking of changing endings, how about Little Mermaid. Disney version versus the original HC Anderson. When i first heard Disney was making the movie I was shocked since she dies. (Plus speaking of morals of B&B, she totally disobeys her father throughout the story.)

Return of the Jedi - Vader kills the emperor to save his son, and Luke and Vader become BFFs. Forget the ewoks. Luke was like about to kiss him.

Little Shop of Horrors - what on stage was a morality play on film becomes a lesson on how to kill people to get ahead and then destroy the evidence.

For those of you referrring to the alternate endings to Clue, do you know why they did it?

Back when it was in the theater, you went to see the different endings. One theater showed ending A, another ending B, and yet another ending C. I am sure they did that so that you would go multiple times, but it does kind of remind you of the game.

It was all in fun, at the time.

My then boyfriend and I went and saw the Miss Peacock ending. I love it when Mr. Green says, "I'm going home to sleep with my wife!" :D

Has anybody mentioned the ever-popular Rabbit Test (can WE talk?!?). Tasteless ending to a tasteless movie (oh, grow up!)

I thought it was the perfect ending. Unexpected, definitely, but the right one.
