Hi all, I'm after a little advice. I went and got my feet tested a few days ago and got some new running shoes which I'm breaking in slowly (I have a very good return pattern apparently) but I'm wondering does anyone have a trick they used for tired feet.

About an hour after I go running and have a shower etc my feet occasionally get a little sore. Not painful but more tired if you know what I mean. Does anyone have a trick they use? I thought about one of those feet spa baths or massager but I'm not sure. Has anyone used something similar?

The hubster does foot exercises. I'll ask him to post them for you.

I tend to pound the ground when I run, so after long runs my feet will ache a little. I sometimes soak them in epson salt. It works a little, but I think you just have to get use to it.

Pull your toes back toward the front of your foot and stretching the muscle between the heel and the ball of the foot. I do it for about 30 seconds at a time, then relax, then stretch for about 30 seconds, then relax. Repeat a few times more. It helps strengthen that muscle and helps prevent soreness.

Thanks all, you've certainly given me some good ideas. I think with a few excercises and simply getting more miles on my feet all will be good. (It's getting better week by week to tell the truth and I have noticed a difference now I have professional fitted running shoes).
