Ya'll have been so helpful I got another one for you.

So I have 9 year old twin girls. I just realized that adult tix prices start at age 10. What do I need and am I going to have to PROVE they are 9 to get a childs tix. I only have 1 Birth certificate(somehow mangaged to lose one) but they are identical twins. And once I get the tix am I goin to have pull out proof everytime we enter a park.

My concern for this is that they are big for theyre age. considering dad is 6'2" and I am 6'.

thanks

i've never heard of it being a problem. fact is, there's (at best) 1 CM per 2 turnstiles and they're there really primarily there to make sure that guests don't have problems getting through.

child tickets don't need to use the finger scan, so it's that much easier to get through without incident. if they had to question every possible 10 year old using a child's ticket, it would take hours to get into the park.

I would agree, and thanks so much. Again First timer, just trying to cover my bases before we get there.

Thanks

Honestly, if I were you, I would just make a copy of that birth certificate you have and keep it in my wallet. That way if someone DOES decide to check their ages, you'll have some sort of inarguable proof that they are of age to use the childrens' tickets. It's just one more piece of paper in your wallet, and you can trash it after your trip.

Good luck! :)

You do not have to have any proof.

When I am selling tickets I will, when a person asks for children's tickets, repeat back as "X children ages three through nine". Sometimes people have said something to the effect of "change that as one of the children needs an adult ticket" or even "oh, I don't need a ticket for my child under three?"

If I am at a gate and I suspect that one (or more) of the children is ten or older (and often it is very easy to tell for the girls since I work at a water park) I will ask the child. Unless they are real good about lying and prepared to lie I will get an honest answer.

In other words, don't worry about it.
