My oldest daughter has been asking me for a while to set up an account for VMK. I did that this morning for both of us to play the character together but have been experiencing some problems. All morning I've been trying to look around the area just to get a feel for the place and to put in the codes we'd picked up on our recent WDW trip but within 2-3 minutes I get this popup "Microsoft Explorer has encountered a problem and must close" and BAM I'm back to the desktop. It claims the problem is Flash player. I've downloaded and redownloaded both Flash and Shockwave to no avail. It keeps happening. It's really frustrating because I don't know if it's my computer that's the problem or if it's issues with the website. :(

So is this a common issue that I just need to be patient with and try later? I can't imagine why it would be my computer because I have a good processor, video card and plenty of RAM.

Hopefully I'll get the hang of this so we can have fun playing together. If you happen to see KellyJen that's us and we'd love to say hi to you. :D

Never mind all, I've figured it out. We can play with no problems on my husband's laptop. Something's obviously wrong with my computer. :( At least my daughter & I can now play, hopefully it won't take us too long to understand the game. :)

Welcome to VMK! Enjoy yourselves.

Should you need help with quests or games, this is a great place to come for help and advice. There are a few of us MousePadders who know a thing or two when it comes to VMK. Don't hesitate to ask!

Friendly word of advice: be careful when you or your daughter trade. Some people will shamelessly take valuable items from you in exchange for common items. Be cautious when trading.

I had a problem like that once I had to delete the programs and reinstal them I guess I kept trying to install them when I already had them but there was a problem with the version I had I guess. so maybe that is all you have to do to fix the problem on your computer. But I don't really know too much about computers. but good luck.
I did get to rub it in that I figured it out when my "computer savvy" hubby could not.
