Our Team in Training group is at Port Orleans Riverside, then I have Monday and Tuesday night reserved at French Quarter, but I'm thinking of upgrading to Animal Kingdom Lodge or Polynesian.

Where are you staying?

I'm going to be in a hotel in Kissimmee on the 3rd and 4th (we ended up making our trip longer to travel to Tampa on New Year's Day for the Outback Bowl), but won't be going to the parks (anyone know of other cheap things to do while we are there, by the way?). Then from the 5th-8th we will be staying at the Polynesian.

We're arriving on the 1st and staying at All-Star Sports. This is my kids first trip to WDW. They're gonna love the sports theme.

We (hersheyhockeymom & I) are staying at Port Orleans Riverside too. We thought about upgrading a couple of times too, but I've heard great things about this resort, so I think we'll just keep the extra money in our pockets (or more likely spend it elsewhere!)

Steph - we'll have to try to meet up. I don't know what your TNT commitments are - I know they usually have a lot of things going on.

Staying at Pop Century for the first time. We've stayed at All Star Movies and Caribean before, much preferred Movies to the Caribean. Would love to stay at Wilderness or Animal Kingdom heard they are beautiful, but not this time would rather save the money for future trips, maybe like Minnie Marathon weekend. We'll be comming in Thur. 4th and leaving Thur. the 11th.

We are also staying at the Pop Century and staying Jan 4 - 11. Hopefully I allowed enough time before and after the marathon to have fun.

Just changed my post-race reservation over to Animal Kingdom Lodge, savanna view. I feel like splurging! :) I put in a request for a Zebra Trail room closer to the lobby so I can minimize walking distance.

I would love to do a meet, Mara! Perhaps we should start a new thread to coordinate that? :)

We were going to stay at the Swan or Dolphin, but we ended up changing to Polynesian. We wanted the ease of getting to the start line by monorail, and my family can get to Magic Kingdom easily to watch me.

Caribbean Beach Resort--King Room. We aren't bringing the kids this time. So, dh and I can have a little more room. More likely, I'll have more room to sleep for a few hours after the 1/2.:)

We stayed at the Yacht Club last year. I did the marathon through the Train to End Stroke program the last 2 years. I think my room was the farthest from the elevator that was possible. It took me like 10 minutes to hobble to my room. LoL. Its a good kind of hurt.

I'm staying at the All Star Sports this year (since I have to pay. lol). I told them to make sure they give me the room that is the closest to the bus that I can get.

Anyone else so excited they can barely stand it??

I'm taking off on Tuesday for the Virgin Islands....so I'll be at Animal Kingdom until then!
