Hi everyone,
In last week's Disneyland Park Update (http://www.mouseplanet.com/articles.php?art=dl061120xx), it said that "Nighttime at 'it's a small world' is a special place in the evening with a special lighting ceremony every day at dusk (see park program for time) and snow throughout the evening."
Does it snow at Small World more often than just after the fireworks? I browsed through the forums and couldn't find anything about this, but would love to know. My 2 year old just isn't going to last late enough for a 9:25pm fireworks show, but I'd love for him to experience the snow.
Thanks!

Yea yea... after I posted this I knew someone would say something like that. We'll be doing real snow too this year, don't worry. Actually, we're going to Yosemite in January. I just have happy memories of the snow at Disneyland.

Immediately following the conclusion of "Belive in Holiday Magic" it snows at it's a small world, down main street USA and the Hub, as well as in front of the Rivers of America in Frontierland.
It snows for about 5 - 10 minutes after the fireworks and they run a music loop of "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas." I personally think it's best to view the fireworks and snow from the hub at the end of main street mainly because if you look back behind you you can see the tree, decorations and such and all the snow falling, it's pretty cool, IMHO.

We were there last week and at Small World a few different times during the evenings and never saw any snow. We were in front of the castle and at Rivers of America for the two fireworks shows that we saw and it snowed both of those places, but only right after the fireworks ended. Small World did do the light/music show every fifteen minutes and we saw that several times, but no snow while we were there. Which isn't to say it never happened or couldn't now, just didn't during our vacation.

The only snow I've seen was after the fireworks.
We have never been able to wake up a child once they've gone to sleep and they never let us forget it either LOL. My nine year old insists that the New Year's Eve Fireworks never happened last year because he fell asleep fifteen minutes beforehand and slept through the whole thing. He doesn't believe us when we tell him how loud they were and how we tried to shake him awake. As far as he's concerned they never happened.

I think standing on Main Street is the best place to "view" the snow, as it is then falling on you.
We have 4 inches of snow in our yard, as of yesterday. I can honestly say I love the snow falling at Disneyland much better than I do at home. hehe
